I'm curious to see if what happens to me aplies to you.
I won't go in details but in last night's OBE I was falling and then BAM!! I hit the ground like a brick with the back of my head.Normally I think you would be in horrible pain but, to my amasement, I felt no pain whatsoever. The back of my head just seemed like it was on anesthesics with a nice, cool feeling exapnding from the point I hit the ground.
My question is:have you felt any sort of pain while in an AP, the kind of pain you get from a bad injury, or it is just a feeling asociated with the physical body?

You shouldn't feel any pain... your "other bodies" have no pain receptors in which to feel it.
With that said, some people *DO* feel pain, but the pain isn't real... it's being created by them because they EXPECT to feel pain.

I don't. There have been times where I was surprised something didn't hurt. I've felt uncomfortable feelings like pressure, heavy vibrations, twisting & contorting, but nothing like physical "ouch" pain.

Yes I agree with everyone on this point. As yet I have felt no pain however i am curious to know if anyone has felt anything physical, ever while in the astral.

There is only one object I actually felt while in the astral and it was copper. Heres what happened.

The very first time I separated, I floated above my bed for a few seconds. I decided to check to see what was in the next room by putting my arm through the wall. I expected to find the wall to my lounge on the other side of my bedroom and if it was all good, (no monsters waiting to bite my hand off etc) I intended to go straight through the wall. My hand went straight through the wall, quite an unsettling experience at first, then I proceeded to wave them around ( searching for monsters) I was surprised to feel two perpedicular objects standing in what I thought was my lounge. My hand went through them as usual but there was resistance at these points. When I became conscious again I went around the corner to see what was on the other side.

Imagine my surprise when I found it was not my lounge on the other side of the wall but the hotwater cylinder and the two objects I was feeling were the copper pipes that run from the cylinder in to the ceiling. So as far as I know you are not able to feel anything physical except is seems...copper. Very curious. Maybe it has something to do with its conductive properties and the astral bodies natural electrical field.

Any ideas?
