Hi everyone!

I am trying the timer method from lucidology. Last night, a couple of times, I felt local vibrations (quite mild) in my arms first. I tried to will it to spread but noticed that I wasn't breathing, so I took deep breaths and then they faded away.

Then, later I felt some mild tremors in my legs and they again faded away.

The vibrations are like someone shaking me gently but from within me.

I don't even know if these are "the" vibrations.

Anyways, as far as I remember I was not in paralysis, since I am to understand that if you are in paralysis u'd definitely know about it - like a heavy blanket or something.

So, if these were the vibrations, how do I use them to trigger an OBE?

thanks!

Hi forynav,

I am 7 months new to AP and I have had a few OBEs per say and vibrations were always just a symptom to me. This is most likely an incorrect way of looking at things though. I have been reading Astral Dynamics and it seems that with T.I. one can activate chakras and cause vibrations in different areas of the body, however I can't share anything more than this because I have never successfully activated my chakras using his methods and refuse to read any more of his book until I do.  He states that his entire book is build upon Tactile Imaging (T.I).

You know, I would be grateful if someone on this forum could shed some light on tactile imaging. I have been trying to activate my thumb chackra for months now with no success. This is basically the very first energy work exercise and i am failing miserably.

Regarding what vibrations feel like, they may feel different to different people but to me it kinda feels like when you hum.

As far as I know, the timer method that's used in lucidology 101 works like this:

You fall asleep, the timer wakes you up, partially, and you OBE.

I would be wary of the whole "you could have OBE's the first time you use this method" thing. But yeah, fall asleep, wake up from the timer, and when you wake up, you'll have tons of vibrations. Or something like that.

Thank you :)

I'm doing the timer method because it is the easiest and requires least effort. I have hols right now, so I dont care about my sleep cycle
