You mean an energy body next to a large release of energy, right? You can go to the core of the sun. It sounds like William Buhlman has even been in the singularities of collapsed stars. I thought that lightning and power lines were significant once. If you want to look at a nuclear explosion from ground zero, please report back on the experience. I expect you will have no trouble doing so.
I read in Robert Bruce's Treatise on OOBE that nuclear radiation will have no effect at all on the astral body.In fact he gives an example, saying if your astral body were to sit in the center of ground zero, it would have no effect on it.

In Monroe's first book, "Journey's Out of the Body", he discusses an experience with nuclear energy, and reported it harmless to the astral body.
Can anything on the physical hurt the etheric in a "physical" way?
Like I understand emotions/depression could hurt, but is there even a way to affect another dimension without entering it?

A nuclear explosion would be a tremendous experience.If it is anywhere near your physical body.Or in the general area.You might not have a body to go back too.

Lets say you're floating along in your astral body and low and behold unfortunately you're stood on ground zero of an impending nuclear weapon and KABOOM, it detonates right next to or on your astral self. Would the nuke or the energy from the nuke do anything to ones astral/etheric body?
Anybody got any ideas?
Just something I pondered about.
