Hello I'm onemeant , I'm new in this forum , and hope to learn some more about AP and OBE and lucid dreams.
I started having a lot of lucid dreams, then I had an OBE just for some sec. I call it OBE becouse it was spontaneous. I saw the room , and my brother in law sleeping , it was very real. While I was out of body , I said to myself if ppl say this is real I have to prove it....I looked at the ceiling and said to myself I can reach the second floor and see other ppl sleeping. Even If this was my first OBE somehow I was sure to pass through the wall. I passed through the wall , and everything went dark , and I woke up in sleep paralysis. This happened just in few seconds.
After some days I had my first "Astral Projection". I was sleeping , and suddenly it was like my mind woke up , and my body was full asleep. I said to myself , wow now I can finally project. I started lifting my body , and saw my arms and legs lifting. My body was Violet(Maybe is my aura color, and this is the reason why I call it astral projection and not OBE) it looked more like a high violet color vibrating really fast. Then I had this fear for no reason, and pulled my body back again. My second attempt also after some days, was not suddenly , it was conscious. I was meditating in my bed , and was really relaxed , I put my body to sleep somehow (this was my first attempt in doing this , it was successful) and started lifting my body , I didn't saw my "astral body" or my aura color , but I had that sensation of lifting.(maybe was because my 3rd eye?? was not open) This time I was really relaxed , saying to myself don't worry everything is fine. While I was lifting I got stuck for some seconds or maybe 1 minute in the air. Then I gave up , not because of fear. Then I thought it was not successful because my body was not fully asleep.
Thanx guys for reading , this were my experiences , and never had one again , even a lucid dream , don't know why :( Any suggestions ? :D
My suggestion? Keep practicing. It took me over a year to have 1 OBE. It took some people on this site over 10 years to OBE.
Never have fear, there is nothing that can hurt you, unless you let it.
And dreams ARE projections. No matter where you are (here on Earth, in a "Dream" in the Astral planes, or RTZ) its all projecting. You're projecting your consciousness to different places.
You may not have seen your astral body, because really, your body doesn't exist. You're a point of consciousness.
And yes it was real. Why? Because everything is "real"
