I was thinking, it seems the majority of people when they attempt to OBE, tend to try when they are laying down (or perhaps sitting down)
but no one seems to try to ever use techniques whilst on their side like perhaps the way most people sleep.

Do techniques in general tend to work on your side? does anyone here use them while laying on your side? can some people only project when on their back? please tell me about this.

I did it once on my side and it was okay but I wasn't feeling very centered. The most important thing is whatever makes you comfortable is the way you should go.

I've read about a lot of people who project easily at night or after awaking in the middle of the night project doing it from their side.

It seems that they are often already in that position when the state that makes projection easy just pops up.

I don't know a lot of conscious exit people who do it from their side, though I'm sure it's entirely possible if that's where you're comfortable.
be awesome.

I don't think it doesn't matter body position that much. There was a time when I thought that you can have OBEs only when lying on your back but as it turned out it's easier for me to exit when lying on my stomach.

Yes it is very possible. I have done just as personal reality stated, woke up on my side in paralysis, and then projected, although I still find it easier and prefer to project/phase while lying on my back. I've never been able to do it from my stomach though, probably a mental block that makes me think its weird trying to project into my bed or exit backwards lol

I've actually been doing the bulk of my practicing "on my side" lately.
As lying on my back has the side effect of now allowing me to breath well enough.

And yes, position doesn't mean very much.
