OBE..CAN YOU ENTER ANOTHER BODY?

can you do obe and enter another body? takeover and control another body?

i mean i heard some people can. If you can...how can you do it?

IMO, when you become smart enough to OBE, then you don't think of doing retarded things such as

takeover and control another body?

Is this something you want to do, or are you afraid of it happening to you?

I totally agree with Innervoyage.  But remember there are discarnate beings walking the earth as well as projected people, who may not have positive intentions. 

But that is no cause for concern.  From what I learned, our bodies are protected by energy/psychic fields when OOB which won't allow any other consciousness to enter.  Plus a living person's consciousness is always connected to his/her body with a silver cord - any danger/noise/thought about your body - you are immediately and involuntarily pulled back into your body.

Maybe not rules but there are limitations. People with negative intentions tend to stay "low" on the astral planes where negative influences tend to be anyways.

When you hear people talking about levels keep in mind they are not levels like you would think of when going up in an elevator. It is more like changing the channel on the tv. All the channels are there and present in one place. Now im not an expert into this subject but this is what I was taught and it makes sense to me considering my astral experiences change when I change focus of mind and not just fly upwards.

Say you sleep with your spouse every night, and one night you project sideways and go through your spouse's body.  If this happens you may experience all of your spouse's emotions.  But no you won't take control of their body.

I don't think it's possible.... because I don't believe you ever really leave your body.  You just tune into different frequencies of reality, which are always present whether or not you are tuned into them.  For some of these levels, you have a corresponding subtle body to experience that level through (etheric, astral, mental) and above those, you exost as pure consciousness....  however, I believe it gets even stranger, and this is starting to show up in quantum physics, that everything is an illusion, which would include even your physical body, being part of the same matter that makes up everything else.  I believe that the same illusion exists on etheric and astral levels too... the entire universe being a sea of energy, and the only thing that makes up our realities, are the frequencies, or waves/vibrations that we tune into at a given point.... even our separateness is part of the illusion. 

What I find amazing is that physics is pointing in this direction with a big red arrow, and people are still skeptical.

Anyway, my point is, that if even our physical bodies are part of the illusion, and there really is only consciousness, then no, you can't inhabit someone else's body in that sense.  However, quantum entanglement could account for tepepathy, empathy etc, because the particles from both parties could become 'entangled' over distance.... but that's another story..... and does distance/time even exist??

I've read several places that we have a "cord" connected from our physical bodies to our astral bodies(please correct me if I'm wrong on this subject).  I assume these cords play some part in keeping our astral and physical bodies connected?

Sorry if I wasn't clear.  What I meant was there are two types of human consciousnesses in the astral plane. Those who have died and those who are projected. 

Some of those who have passed away are still on earth because they are in denial (that they're dead), some don't know it yet, some need help to move on and yet some refuse to leave earth because of attachment to something or someone. 

Those who are projected have plenty to discover and be excited about - they would certainly not be interested in manipulation of others.  When people get to that stage, it's because they have reached an advanced stage in their personal development.

Unlike Synergy, I do believe that we actually leave our bodies during OBE - though not entirely.  I believe that we are able to divide our energies in different places and amounts.  In my experience, when I go OOB, I always have some awareness in my body, sometimes strongly and other times mildly, so it's like being in two places at the same time.  During one particular OBE, I actually divided my consciousness into 3.  I had awareness of my body and had two other parts of me in the astral plane.
