OBE ~ Hooded Creature

Last night, as I drift to sleep, I slip into sleep paralysis. From there I shove my arms outward, and project straight outwards. As I float for a few seconds, I am sucked very fast downwards. Instantaneously I am face to face with a hooded creature. It has somewhat of a jutting face, somewhat like a horse but not as big and somewhat humanoid (fleshy maybe). I am paralyzed now, and it seems to have its hand in my stomach; I can not see down but I feel this, an excrutiating pain in my abdomen, somewhat by my appendectamy scar. I have had many, if not hundreds, of obe experiences, but I have never had this kind of contact within one. I've read many accounts but none mention this undescribable face I was staring at. Anybody care to weigh in?

Hi, welcome to the Astral Pulse.

You have to realize that the things we see and experience in the non-physical are shaped in such a way that our minds can comprehend.
For example, we'll see a "hooded figure" when we don't exactly know what it is... as it generally signifies a mystery or the unknown.

I'd suggest that the next time you encounter it, ask it what it is... turn it from an unknown into a known.

Yeah, I've had many OBE encounters with entities, and I know this is a very common occurrence. However, there were several details that were highly different from past experiences. The first main difference was this "pulling" sensation. It tugged on me with such force that it felt it nearly ripped my essence in two. The second was the horrendous pain in my abdomen. This was pain I've never experienced in "physical" reality. I was merely curious if somebody else has had a similar experience with those details.

It's ignorance from people like Noy that truly discourage people from seeking answers on forums. I come from a place where talk of lucid dreaming and astral projection make you sound insane. I seek help online to ditch the ignorance of my surrounding people, only to find it ten fold online. Why even register in such a place if you are neither encouraging nor insightful? I guess I'll stick to reading faqs and stop trying to actually participate in conversation.

Rant aside, thank you for your positive input Xanth. This particular instance I was not able to speak or think, due to shock from seeing the creature I suppose. Next time I will try to inquire the creature, perhaps gaining a greater comprehension of the entity.
