Title: OBE manifestation technique?
Post by: Tiny on August 27, 2009, 10:26:28
As from what I've read, most people "step out" directly from their physical bodies.

I've read on rare occasions that people try holding an image of where they want to be, and as they sink deeper into trance, they would automatically teleport themselves to that place. Tell me, is this not leaving the body? Or am just I confusing it with an etheric, type projection or even a lucid dream?

Anyway, it sounds easier to me than the usual techniques where you're trying to disconnect from every limb, then rolling out or climbing a rope etc.

Are any of you practicing what I mentioned way above? Is it really easier like I thought it is?

2 nights ago I was sinking into trance, holding the image of my target place in my mind and it started to appear 50% as if i was really there. Unfortunately I didn't get any further.

It's called "phasing". I prefer it. To me it's easier, but only after a lot of practice, as it can require a good bit of concentrated awareness. If you're good at visualizing, it may come easier.

Ah ok so this is what people mean with phasing.

I like how the article describes how we need to rather 'let go' to achieve AP instead of trying hard and making it more complicated than it actually is.
