Since it seems it will be awhile before frank returns and writes his long awaited book, and since I'm still very interested in learning phasing, can you recommend me a book that best describes how to achieve it?

I know there are topics on phasing, but the information about it is way too scattered over numerous topics and more importantly, in my opinion, forum's topics on it don't go into enough details to be really useful

EDIT-I know about bruce moen, but I find it hard to believe that next to monroe he's the only one describing phasing. In any case,if he is the authority on the subject, do recommend his book

cheers

I wholeheartedly agree and I also need some other point of reference than that of the forums.

Can't believe !! I was being to suggest you a book and it turned out to be exactly the same as RunLola.
I suggest you to buy it from Bruce Moen's site, as it comes with a CD (MP3 or CD Format) with all the exercises and a free DVD of a LIVE Lecture.
It's not good, it's EXCELLENT !! He uses the Monroe model.
-Still can't find the Truth.

One of the first books on AP I read many years ago contained what I can only term as phasing. It was called 'Astral Doorways' by J.H.Brennen. It used a technique which consisted of staring at cards (you need to make them) to create an imprint on the retina, this imprint is then manipulated with visualisation (turning it into a doorway) to allow one to access various levels of the astral. I did have some success with this method. If your minds eye visualisation skills are not great, it also contains a long term training program to improve them (they take effort, but do work).
