I have a slight confusion. When people say visualize your self doing something (ex.  Floating up) are they saying in first person, third person, or just the sensation? :?

MinstruelZ

They are speaking in first person. "Visualize" is a difficult term because everybody uses their imagination differently. Some people visualize visually, while others use their tactile sensation better. If you are imagining yourself floating upward, try doing it so that you can feel where "you" are while floating up, and can also feel that your physical body is a few feet below you. As you continue upward, "feel" your physical body being a few feet, then six feet below you and so on. Do what works best for you, but don't get stuck thinking that you need to "see" things that you visualize.

I like to say 'remember' when it happened to you ( if it did before.)  If not 'recreate the feeling'.
