OBE in RTZ usually hard to move

Hi everyone,
I'd like to preface this question by saying that I have not lately been consciously trying to project due to the silly "fear of NE" issue, which really is no excuse.  I do however read constantly, and am currently reading "Our Ultimate Reality", which is amazing.

Many times in a dream, something will seem off, and as soon as I realize something is wrong, I will wake up in bed into the RTZ with vibrations beginning or already in their full higher state. While I have been able to have full clarity and get up or even fly out of the window, most of the time it is a huge struggle.

Meaning usually its extremely hard to move,"talk" or even to sit up in the bed.
Two days ago, with much force I got off the bed, walked to the door and started to walk down some steps in my house, but it was like pushing against an insurmountable force, along with very muddy vision.
This morning as well, I was able to get off the bed and walk, but had very bad vision.

Would most here simply say I need to do more concentration exercises and do more energy work?

Or would you say that RTZ experiences  are harder to control being so close to the physical body?

Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks for the reply EnderZ.
That sounds very similar to what happens to me.   Many times I will be in bed with my arms free, trying to push onto the bed and sit up to no avail.  Other times, I feel like I am shrinking, or falling into the bed or even just floating mid air unable to move.
I will try to concentrate more next time and shift my awareness away from my body, or try internally thinking a mantra(as I can't usually "speak").

On a positive note, another time I awoke in RTZ felt wind rushing over me.  I quickly flew out of the window, up into the sky and went into space. I was absolutely amazed while viewing flashes of color, swirls and mini explosions.  It has a very odd, empty feeling being in space as I have been there before.  I then thought I should head back and quickly woke up,with a very cold feeling you can get right after an intense experience.

I don't have the answer for you but I can relate an experience I had.

I awoke from a dream and felt the vibes. I immediately tried to float up but felt stuck. I then tried to roll out and felt stuck. After trying for what felt like several minutes I just gave up. As soon as I did I sat up and started walking away from my body. I didn't even realize at the time that I was out.

I think the harder we try the more difficult it can be to let go. Maybe a trick that might help is to visualize a release and let it happen naturally.

Jub Jub, again that's very similar to what I've had.

Sometimes the vibrations whether dream induced or induced from waking consciousness can be very rough, like the whole bed shaking. Some occasions I wake up unable to move hearing voices in the room, or on one occasion a female form was in the bed next to me and placing her arm around me.  For a while a would wake myself up when this happened, to avoid being paralyzed and unable to act.  Sometimes I would see if I could make an audible sound, or speak a conjuration.  If I couldn't I wouldn't even try to move and just wake up.  Lately I am getting over that and riding it thru the vibrations.  I will try to focus more, relax and hopefully leave the body in RTZ a bit easier.  It would be interesting once in the RTZ to attempt to phase into the Astral...

sorry i didn't have time to talk about it in dpeth in my last reply, i was in a hurry so I just copied the link incase you missed that thread.

I try to raise my energy when this happens, and most of the time after I can get past a small distance from where I first projected,  I am fine.

Hope this helps.

Well, I'm by no means an expert but, it seems from what I've been reading is there is no magic formula to exit a certain way. Sometimes it's by chance where we wind up and how we get out. For instance, my first projection I floated up and moved about like it was natural. I went through the wall, the ceiling...no biggie. Second RTZ projection I didn't even realize I was OOB!

So, even though we know what the pre-cursors are to projection, the results will depend on what our sub conscious is expecting at that moment in time. I suppose there are exceptions to this by the highly skilled members of AP.

Anyway, I'm just jacking my jaws because this stuff is still very Greek to me.

Jub jub,
Thanks for the reply.  Things do seem very uncontrolled and sporadic without practice.  When I had been practicing everyday, it was getting easier to move when my energy level and concentration were higher.  For exiting, different methods seem to work differently.  Sometimes concentrating on your heartbeat produced rougher vibrations and exits, whereas mantras seemed to work differently, the same can be said for visualization/attempted phasing.

Lately it just seems to be converting lucid dreams into OBE's in which movement is difficult.

That sounds like a good experience you had of simply floating thru the wall and ceiling.  Its an interesting feeling moving thru objects!

My vision is hazy a lot when in the RTZ when first exiting and it's pretty annoying.  I don't have a dependable solution but what I like to do that seems to work pretty well is to try and stop actually "looking" and instead start "seeing" what I can.  It's the difference between struggling to get your vision and just letting the vision happen on it's own by being very passive but very observant.  Sometimes what happens is that there is actually things to see in your field of vision, but it's easy to choose to ignore them and this can lead to you being completely visionless.  Like a mental block.  A simple suggestion to yourself like "Stop looking and just see" will open a narrow hole of vision that will widen as you relax more.  Sometimes just looking at random noise in your field of vision and really taking note of it will expand your vision and make things start to appear.

As far as the difficulty in exiting right after vibrations:  Try this and see if it works for you.  As soon as the vibrations come, then really get into the spirit of things such as immediately tell yourself, "Yes!! it's here, now lets just go with the flow baby and let it happen".  I never push it because that can break the vibrations.  Instead I always let it happen by itself but I do a great deal of mental "persuasion" usually just in the form of psyching myself up to the wonderful trip that is about to happen.

The "Wind":  I like to call this the "Magnetic Wind" because it feels to me more like something that attracts me like a magnet while still having that feeling of a gentle breeze on my skin.  Depending on this wind is a really great way to get around quickly.

Thats a good point Ken, about simply trying to "see" what you can.  Many times I want to just exit the house as soon as possible by flying thru the window.  But first I know I should try to just stop and look and my hands, be still, and take in the whole scene and sharpen up the view.  For some reason, concentration on the brow chakra seems to clear up vision sometimes, or even induce OBE from a hypnagogic state before the exit.

Many times when the vibes come, its not always an overwhelming joyfull feeling, it's usually a mix of should I just wake myself up, or try to exit.  I can see how in your case of being 100% into the feeling and raring to go, this would help with a smoother exit.   Many times I simply wake up, knowing I am in the Astral/RTZ in my bed.  I will try to move my hands and pull my finger to see if it stretches.  Often my chest area will be stuck, even though I feel my legs float up and my hands are free.

I've experienced the winds on a few occasions, every time I have, its been a great feeling.  One of the times I felt the winds, I actually saw my translucent astral legs floating above the blankets, but I'll go into that another time.

I like to use looking at the back of my hand not only to clarify my vision but it's also a great way to stay out longer.  The process of focusing on the details of the hand, like the veins and the texture of the skin really helps to keep the trip going strong.  Inducing OBE from hypnogogia can be really cool.  It's different, but worth doing.  I've only done this a few times and it feel more like remote viewing to me, but definitely a fantastic visual experience and I would like to experience it again sometime.

I wish I could help more with the negative feeling you have upon exiting, but maybe when you realize that you don't always have the option of doing this, you might think of it as a more precious moment that you shouldn't squander if you know what I mean.  Also remember there are folks that would give anything to have a crack at a good vibrational experience.

I have never had to deal with stuck parts... oh wait, once I did.  My head was stuck and the only way I could get out was to actually do a back flip over my head.  It seemed funny in retrospect, but it worked!  Pulled me right apart.

Yea the wind is one of my favorite things.  I've had guides as well, and sometimes the two seem almost the same as if the wind is just a guide in disguise.  It always takes me somewhere of value so there is obviously an intelligence involved.  It never just picks me up and dumps me in the middle of a desert somewhere. :yikes2:
