Induce lucid dream = induce OBE?

I am really confused... Does lucid dream = OBE? are they the same? Why both inducing method are so similar... ?

Because they are both products of consciousness, or better yet, lucidity in an altered state.  When we sleep every night, we have many dreams every night.  Everyone.   In a regular old dream your consciousness is 'off' so you accept every whackiness you experience.  The act of becoming lucid is your consciousness turning 'on' as you sleep.
When you OB, the theory is that your consciousness projects itself 'outside your body'- If you are not aware of this, it's the same as sleep.  In the same manner, you need your consciousness to be 'on' when you project, so that you can experience and remember the experience.
So what you are developing is your lucidity and recall.
OB practice also should include energy work, something I have never seen included in lucid dreaming practices.  But that's just my experience.
So whether you believe dreams=Obs or not,  the same mechanisms apply:
Lucidity and recall.
