This is not to prove whether ghosts exists or astral projecting or OBEs exist.

Then the title of this post is a bit misleading then.  To verify something (OBE Verification Test) is to prove it.  It should say "Object on Desk Verification Test" :)

Jay12341235,

Everyone wants the answer *now* if this is real or not. Give me the proof... if you want the proof chase it down but realize it will materialize for you when it is time.

Hope this helps.

Amen to you DW

OK, I went to your desk a total of three times last night. Each time I observed something different (go figure). What I saw:

Trip one - Pet Turtle

Trip two - A stuffed cat

Trip three - A Jake Sully Avatar action figure

So, was I close?  :-D

I like tests and validations and I would like to encourage others to help the creator of this topic. What can it possibly hurt?

Anyways..... a lot of good information for everyone to asorb and teach each other.

It was the first sentence, not misleading

Hello, I have a simple experiment in mind. It is to see whether or not you can visit a certain place and tell me what is there. This will prove, if done correctly, that:

B. You visit real places during astral projections/out of body experiences.

Not at all, but thanks for trying! :)

I would like to see more people actually try this experiment. So many people here say they can OBE, so this experiment has the potential to be very interesting. The object is still there if anyone wants to try!

It seemed pretty straight forward to me.

There was one other thing that I noticed but I thought for sure you wouldn't have one on your desk and that was, a model of an oil drilling platform. Must be all the TV I'm watching.

Lol nope not that either. Did you see me at all?

I made an attempt to teleport/travel to your place but I couldn't make it out of my house. I still can't get the traveling from point a to b down yet. I have to at least have an idea of the geographical location. I'll make another attempt late tonight it's my last day off, if I can't get there tonight I'll have to wait another week as I have more time during my days off to make good attempts.

If you're trying to travel to someone else's house and you don't know the area... try focusing in on who you know in the house, this will help your subconscious pinpoint where you need to go.

Oh, and I wanted to add that "experience is validation (verification)". I think someone could just as easily "guess" what is on your desk (intuition). Tests such as these are purely coincidental to the experience. When projecting to the etheric it is quite possible for me to create anything on your desk to the degree that I would not know if it was placed there by you or my own preconception. For example, if my body had the urge to urinate I might subconsciously form the image of a toilet on your desk. The "idea" of it BEING a "desk" might encourage me to see things which are clearly to be associated with a desk - pens, paper, pictures, computer/typewriter or etc. The imagination is very powerful despite intention.

CFTraveler

I think that's why I prefer remote viewing for these types of experiments- less tendency to add stuff.  The minute you inject yourself into the experience, you put your own interpretation into it.

Psilibus

Yea to that although I haven't the foggiest HOW to really remote view anything. Never seems to work for me. Maybe that's why I am so grumpy today. :x

I tried again but upon exit I didn't end up in the real time. I'd post the experience here but it doesn't deal with this topic:

Im glad that jay started this exercise otherwise Im not sure I would of attempted to get out today since I work and need rest. It was probably my favorite place I ever ended up so far. I will attempt again tomorrow for jays test since my wife is off so Ill have some extra time.

The object is a globe.
Somewhat success. There is one in my room, but this is not that uncommon. Plausable proof? Very good though! I appreciate you trying! Please feel free to try again!

Psilibus

Yes, plausible but it is difficult to be sure where you are sometimes. Like I said, for me it is not uncommon to mix the messages. Well I tried anyway.

I think some who try these tests need to give more information. I try to create a whole picture of the person. This includes the thoughts, emotions, brief recent history - the ambiance of the place I wish to go. To many options when it is just a picture of a desk in a corner. I can usually "feel" a person but "place" is much more difficult unless it has some historical reference.

Anyone else?
