That does sound like the start of focus 12 to me, your head had just separated.

BTW in that link it says focus 10 is "brain awake, body asleep." That is incorrect, it is mind awake, body asleep. The brain is part of the body, your mind is independent of your body.

i got up at about 5:00 in the morning last night, went to the bathroom then went back too bed. at that time i decided too try astral phasing. i got too focus 10 and it kept getting deeper. then i heard kind of like a crack, almost like my ears popped, then my sense of hearing was ... well... different. it was really good and clear, but fuzzy at the same time. i also felt really distant. do you think i got too focus 12 maybe? or is it something common that happens i just wasnt doing it right. []
