I have had several OBE's over the years and so far it's been somewhat a tough self taught journey. However despite reading numerous books I have never been in a face to face group environment learning or sharing experiences. The closest I have been to any collaborative environment on the subject is perhaps here on this forum.

I noticed there are various programmes/workshops at the Monroe Institute and despite some of them being run by well known people in the field I feel somewhat uncertain on the credibility of what can be achieved in such a short space of time verse the cost of the workshops.

I would love to have an opportunity to learn more in a 'teaching environment' but has anyone ever attended a workshop such as at the Monroe Institute or maybe other venues and can provide some feedback on their experience?

I live in the UK and I have not seen that many OBE or AP workshops but can anyone advise if any such venues exist in the UK?

The Monroe Institute is active in the UK - http://www.monroeinstituteuk.org/

Let us know how it goes if you give them a whirl.

I suppose that's a personal decision. It doesn't seem very different from going to a class that teaches metaphysics. They might show up some techniques that work for you, but so will reading and watching lectures on the subject. I have spent money on two books relating to OBE's. The rest of my knowledge comes from being involved with groups like these or simply reading articles across the web. Like i said, people can suggest techniques to aid you along but the ultimate power comes from within you. (I know that sounded corny)

Hi,
If you attend one, let us know your impressions of it. Im sure The Pulse members' would be very interested in your findings.
You could let us know what expectations you're hoping to see there and if any of the promoters of this venture read your posts they may be implemented.
The Pulse is known in these circles as a good source of information and the feedback from its members would be of vested interest to them.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

There's also Graham Nicholls http://www.grahamnicholls.com/ whom I find very competent and dedicated to his students. The good thing with him is that he provides one-on-one coachings (over Skype/phone) tailor made to your particular needs.
