Lisen, it's 4:55 in the morning and I'm really excited to due what just happened, let me briefly explain before I ask what I came on here to ask.

So I became lucid in a dream, basically an event in the near future being played out in my mind's eye. Due to whatever inconsistency  I realized I had to be dreaming.

So I'm thinking OMG I can go astral project. And I just got excited, but I was still dreaming.

Then I decided to totally veer off from my dream and try to fly away. And excitement it seemed so real.

Okay, I'm having a hard time containing my excitement as I type this, and I guess I had a hard time containing it in the dream realm as well.

Because like I said, I veered off from the dream I was having, and while in my house (inside my dream) i was like okay i'm just going to fly up and astral project wooooooooooo time to transcend dimensions

I flew uptop and basically passed through the ceiling of my house before being dropped down to my physical body regaining consciences.

Now, my question.

What can I do next time I find myself in that scenario to turn a lucid dream into an OBE?

Also, How can I not get over excited and control my emotions while lucid dreaming to keep the experience going.

Man, I seriously thought I was going to have a conscience obe, when I popped back into my physical body I was a lil' dissapointed.

BUT HEY! progress! Any feed back ins appreciated. thanks. going back to sleep now, I still have at least 1 or 2 dreams in me aha.

"I flew uptop and basically passed through the ceiling of my house before being dropped down to my physical body regaining consciences."

You were already out of body. Dreams.. Lucid Dreams... OOBE... all the same game.. same rules... different expectations and perception.

Don't waste your lucidity thinking you need to come out of body... not when you are having success becoming lucid. Trust me.. you will have more insight and fun this way and it will save you getting wrapped up in an extra process.

To stop being more excited... begin to practice some sort of meditation. This will help you centre yourself and learn to focus. It is difficult not giving in to astonishment. The more you practice and become lucid the less you will be over excited.

I used to get excited a lot, but I'd practice techniques inside the dream OR obe like looking at our hands.

Much of what Bedeekin says is true. Plus i'd reckon a technique like i suggest above may help. You can do what you like. But techniques like this do help (especially when first learning) so trying something inside the Dream or OBE like this may help you focus and while focussing your excitement level is also going to lower (if you can stop yourself getting excited while watching your hands melt in front of your eyes!!!).. hopefully you can. :)

Like suggested it would be good to forget about the differences and similarities between Lucid Dreaming and OBE & I'd suggest grab on to any lucidity you can and take care while there.. Just follow it along and watch your intuition take you ANYWHERE! Though some lucid dreams can become a bit like inception and you may need to take MORE CARE!! ;) ;) :-o

That said there is almost nothing on Earth like those first few fully-conscious separations from the body.. But that's just the separation process itself (which is a might interesting to myself as to what is going on??? :? And how it can feel like it does? 8-)) But once outside you'll find that OBE and LD are super similar and most people will concur that you can easily have LD's that are more vivid than OBE's and vice versa... i think what is important is learning about the environment we find ourselves in while there and how to retain as much as our lucidity as we can while there.

When I started with OBE stuff, I had lucid dreams pretty frequently. I thought that I could enter an OBE from a lucid dream and it would be much easier. I ended up making myself a little nuts over it and it ended up not being very enjoyable at all. Sometimes you just gotta enjoy the ride. The more I learn and experience, it's all about the journey, not the classification.
Take to the sky, feeling so alive! Past the clouds to the Milky Way, share our secrets with the starry brigade. The stars surround us like a million fireflies. For once I see infinity... it's in your eyes.

THANK YOU, TRUE WORDS OF WISDOM!  :-)

Some good feedback going on, I appreciate every bit of it.

I am considering taking some yoga classes to aid in my journey. I feel really confident that I will achieve a conscience obe this year.

I'm even using Steve G. Jones program. As well as etherium gold (in addition to a strict diet)

Is there anything else I can do to further my progress?

I am not in any hurry, but I guess you could call me enthusiastic.

try awake back to sleep methods. & in that 30min-1.5hrs while awake read about astral protection, lucid dreaming, come on this forum etc.

it's given me some good results.

I don't think this guy went into a full blown OBE. It seems to be he was in a very strong lucid dream bordering on OBE but not a full blown OBE. Full OBE's are waayyyyyyyyyy more clearer and you have more control over them.

Still is good progress and will make it easier for you in the future to have a full OBE.

Sometimes they are weak or your focus is a bit rubbish. Also he's a beginner.
