What is OBE and Lucid Dreaming?

OBE or OOBE - Out of Body Experience.

An Out of Body Experience is any experience where you are aware of yourself and are out of your body (ie, you can see yourself, or your floating, and various other sensations)

There are several types of Out of Body Experiences. Your consciousness can be shifted to different energy bodies, so you can walk around on the lowest plane of the astral, and can still see the normal world, which is refered to as the Real Time Zone, by some. Higher up you go, the more magnificent (or frightening) it can become. The Astral is influenced easily by the mind, but not everything there is an illusion.


Remote viewing is similar to an obe, but not as extreme.

Lucid Dreaming is where you are aware that you're a dream and can control it. "Hey, I'm dreaming! I want to see my friends!" *poof! your friends are there*

Most things in a lucid dream are creations of the mind.



Well, any damage that may occur isn't going to be physical. Unless you have a lot of fears, you should be ok.

To achieve an obe, there are several different ways, all of which are listed in one place or another around this forum, the site, and the internet.

Okay, that helps alot! Thanx! I still need to know how to do these though and if there are any dangers of it and what they are if there are dangers! And if when in an OBE, if you can get hurt or die? Please help me with these! Oh, and how to help get a Lucid Dream and not wake up or just get a Lucid Dream, cuz I have had Lucid Dreams before, but I always wake up right when I say to myself "Whoa i'm dreaming!" please help!

Hi, it great that you are showing an interest in this stuff.  I recommend that you buy robert bruces book, Astral Dynamics .  It if full of great information and will help you project and answer many of your quesiotns regarding the danger involved ( by the way it is very small).

What exactly is Lucid Dreaming ore OBE? I know what OBE means, but how do you do it? Are there any dangers or side effects? Please help me with these things and what is the point of doing it? PLEEEEEEEZ HELP ME WITH IT THOUGH! I AM VERY INTERSTED!!
