I want to know, is this a dream or did I manage to go out of body?

Sitting there in bed, I began to feel and hear the vibrations it sounded like one of those concrete drills was behind used right next to you. I then remained tight, I had a dream before this that we could not pay the rent and I thought it was real (I was not really fully awake) so I was kind of depressed about that even though it was just a dream! I sat there tight and just began floating off the bed. I then spawned next to my bed, (first of all I want to say wow. How real this is, its just amazing but when you wake up you forget pretty fast.) First thing I noticed was I was not wearing a shirt, but in real life I was wearing a shirt. Second thing I noticed was there were plenty of things on the table that were not there in real life. So I just approached the door and I was outside. No need to even open it  8-) Flew out into the sky then I remembered that I promised my friend I would try to tell her the color of her bed! So I just imagined going to her bed and bam I was there. I looked real close at her bed, I saw a pattern of colors and some flowers. I then thought of my body and boom. I opened my eyes looking at the ceiling. I also want to say that it was night, and I believe I projected in the morning.

The reason I ask if this is an OBE is because there were plenty of things that were not there in real life, like notes on the table and such.

why do you say "real Life" would that not condition your mind to not accept it?

it does sound like a "real" OBE with reality fluctuations
well done

Thanks, I say real life because I feel when there are things that are not there when we are awake then it is just like a fake copy of real life.
But I'm still amazed, it feels more real then being awake. Everything is much more alive or shiny, I don't know how to describe it.

Hi,
Hold on then, that feeling is nothing next to whats out there. In time you'll see for yourself. There's nothing on earth near to the exhilaration you'll feel.
Safe travels.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Congratulations on your non-physical experience!

The more you experience it, the less "MORE" real it is... and the more you're actually able to do and accomplish.  :)
Eventually, it'll be and feel exactly like your physical life does now.

Congratulations! Sounds like a genuine OOBE to me. Please let us know if you got the details of your friend's bed right. OOBEs often have the reality fluctuations you described. It's a real pain...

It turned out what I saw was false, the color of my friend's bed was completely off. I saw a pattern full bed but her bed was just plain white.

What about other details?

I ask because it would substantiate my theory a bit in that our experiences are a mishmash of our own experience mixed with another consciousnesses.

I wonder, how do we truly know this physical life is the "real life" and the Astral/Dream life is the "fake life" ? (although it's surly can not be fake if we can experience it) Maybe it's the other way around but we're so attached physically that that's the way we see it. I ask this, Would you not want the "real life" to be the non physical (astral planes and all planes higher), where you truly are the creator of your own world, instantaneously ?  :-) Not to mention all the magnified feelings we feel in the non physical.

I say this is the real life because this is where I have family, this is where I own things like here I have a house. I have people who like me,

Xanth

*Real* is a perception, *real* is a point of view.
There's no experience which you have that is "fake".

Ihavewings,
You have your own answer then.  :)

All that must be non physical too (to some degree) if you think all that :-D

Anyways nice experience :-)

That's just it.

If you philosophy includes the "Everything is one", then you naturally have to include the non-physical in that, or else you're ignoring a large part of "you".

"Everything is consciousness"... includes your family, your friends, your "stuff", your dreams, your nightmares, *YOU*... everything.  There is no separation... that's the illusion.
