Of course we all would need to eventually figure out what works best for us, and documenting that is a good idea once you figure it out so you don't forget.  It's probably best to research first and figure out what is out there, then expand and invent upon that and see if you can improve upon it.

I'm almost finished Travel Far. As I contemplate it I see that it is the one book in the world that is a concentration of techniques and experiences that match mine absolutely perfectly... I wrote it and it is a collection of the techniques I've used, and the experienced gained through their use, so that would be. Perhasp what we ALL need is to do our own research, and to write our own books. Perhaps that is the way to mastery. I predict that the reading and application of Travel Far will be the crux of my development. In essence I'll be my own master, and I can recreate what I've done throughout the years but in a concentrated way... mastery.
