I have read a lot about phasing, and since I haven't had much success these last couple of weeks, Ive decided to try it. However, my question is does phasing induce vibrations, and also are you out of your body and can look back at your body when you phase or is it just a strong lucid dream.
Quotemy question is does phasing induce vibrations
No.
Quoteare you out of your body and can look back at your body when you phase or is it just a strong lucid dream
Yes you are out of body, or better, your consciousness is. Phasing is changing your focus from the physical to the non-physical, while you stay conscious.
You won't see your body because you won't phase into your bedroom normally.
It is different from a lucid dream because you are more conscious and aware, like an OBE or AP, and have full control.
Here is a lot of information about phasing: http://unlimitedboundaries.ca/xanths-phasing-primer/ (http://unlimitedboundaries.ca/xanths-phasing-primer/), on Xanth's website.
:-)
I read all of that and I still dont understand what phasing is...
in the middle of a dream someone once said to me "your not really here right now, your actually still asleep in your bed"
I realised I was dreaming but I lost the dream and woke up in bed...only the bed wasnt mine and I realised that it was sort of a false awakening...had full out of body awareness..from there I was able to talk to quite a few people and explore a little before "returning" to my body
Is that phasing??
there was no vibrations
Phasing is a type of projection in which you shift your focus of awareness into the non-physical.
In essence, you're "here" (the physical), then you feel a shift, and then you're "there" (the non-physical).
Anytime there is a direct shift from here to there, without you losing conscious awareness (aka fall asleep), then that is phasing.
Does that help any?
urshebear,
What you describe in your post is considered Phasing, but it's phasing between non-physical realities, instead of phasing between the physical and the non-physical.

I think you had a dream, that turned into a lucid dream, then it turned into an OBE. So not a phasing, not every experience without vibrations is a phasing.
In a phasing you lie or sit down, you close your eyes, relax your body, get into a trance. You watch the darkness and relax some more. Then, after a while, suddenly you see an image, like a landscape or a town or any location you can think of. You feel like you're zooming in on it, may feel some sort of shift/change and suddenly you are there, in the image. Everything feels real and you can do what you want, fly or walk, explore. This is how it feels for me, hope you can get a better "picture" of it now. :-)

I think you had a dream, which in essence *IS* projecting, but that is not phasing. Think of when you fall asleep and you see hypnogogic images, ok? Well imagine stepping into those images. Thats phasing. Another way to explain is when you are in the hypnopompic stage (normally when you wake up in the morning) and you fall back asleep and move straight into a dream without any deep sleep - imagine you did this (move from wake to dream) without losing conscious awareness. To me it actually feels like I am sucked into the scene. Very bizarre feeling!
Basically as Xanth said, phasing is transferring your CONSCIOUS awareness elsewhere but I hope the above explanations help.
Forget vibrations, they mean nothing for phasing or any other type of projection.
