Title: Physical Fatigue/Vibrations
Post by: Isr on February 25, 2004, 19:20:28
I think that you should be in a state of freshness, not tired or you won't remember your OBE or either fall asleep I recomeend you to read the Treatise on OBE if you haven't read it of course.

Good luck!

I honestly think that being VERY tired is a hinderance to getting vibrations, or even controlling an OOBE.  While that tired, OOBEing would be like running around like a drunken fool.  For me, doing it after about 5 hours of sleep is what does the trick.  I'm not too tired, yet I still have a desire for sleep.  This is the perfect time to do it for me.  I lay down, and refrain from moving my body.  I clear my mind, and relax until I reach the hypnagogic.  Now, if you are too tired, you'll be in the hypnagogic and last for about 3 seconds.  BAM, before you know it, you're out.  You didn't even have any time at all to catch good vibrations.  Anyhow, back to what I was saying.  If you can stay in the hypnagogic long enough, you'll reach the ideal spot to activate vibrations on command.  I don't know if anyone else can do that, but I can.  You relax your body until you OVER relax it, and it'll send energy through you, and this sometimes awakens your body to an OOBE.  Those are my tips.

I think I got it.

Do you ever set an alarm to wake you after about 5 hours, or do you only do it when you naturally wake after 5 hours?

Does anyone find using alarms to wake up on the early side a hinderance to OBE, or does it not reall matter?

i have always heard that the best time to have it is after waking up, and it works for me.

I've read that people say it's easier/faster/better to attempt to have an OBE when very tired.

My question,

Does physical fatigue help by...

A) Making it easier to get vibrations
B) Making it easier to relax, which makes it easier to get vibrations
C) Making it easier to get from vibrations to OBE
D) Making it easier to get stronger vibrations, which lead to OBE
E) Other?

Thanks for your time.
