Title: Physical Pain during Projecting
Post by: Van-Stolin on September 26, 2003, 20:47:56
Hmm, I really don't know for sure.  It could be alot of things, maybe just a cramp from not moving your muscles, a surge of ki wanting a release, or maybe a neg entity.

I also had a similir experiance, but mine felt like a bee sting on my left arm.

Pain is not uncommon. When i first began to have my experiences i would feel a sharp dagger of pain stab into my side. I believe it was possibly a blockage within my system. Perhaps one of my chakras not processing properly. This could be the case with your experience.

Astral is real so the pain it it (and when you're starting to go there) is real, but it usually doesnt damage the physical body.

I feel the pain every time I near vibrating, and it usually puts my mind back into my body.

I dont know why you would feel pain so often. It usually only happens to me when I allow it.

The last 4 nights in a row, it was in my left hand, not my right, circling and getting stronger. Does this make any difference?

Last night I woke up to some slight vibes and I kind of just knew that whatever conditions were necessary were there for an OBE, and sure enough I was able to sit up, but then I couldn't get any further.  Right at my tailbone area I felt pain whenever I tried to get the rest of me out - if felt like the more I forced it the more the pain would be.  So I just sat there and focused energy on that area and took the opportunity to examine my astral arm in the mirror beside the bed.  Then after a minute or so I was able to get out.

I got the impression (maybe from something I read out here) that pain somewhere along the spine would mean that that particular energy center didn't have proper energy flow or something - but I'm not sure if that would apply to arms, hands, side, etc. [:)]

When I was starting astral projection, I had pain in my back and throat when I tried to project. It stopped after a few weeks. It felt like something nonphysical was being pulled loose that had been connected for a long time. I was probably just getting used to separation.

Do you do energy work? Do you wear any rings or any kind of jewelry on this hand? My guess is energy blocks, work at clearing them. If you wear jewelry take it off. Sometimes this can cause this in some people.

I don't wear any jewelry of any sort, neither do I do energy work. What would you reccomend me doing in this aspect?

I would say that could be due to a transformation of the body.  When we are in the right state Spirit can work with us to transform our bodies to a higher level of existence.  I've had lots of pain associated with the transformation process, but I always welcome it and know that when it is complete I will be a new being on a new level.  As this transformational energy worked through my body it also healed all physical illnesses - corrected my eyesight and other health problems.  To me this is a healing energy, a correctional energy - yeah there might be some physical pain, but our bodies have mutated a long way from their pristine state.

It's up to you to determine what it's true meaning is and whether you will welcome it or shut it out.     Linda.

It seems to happen every night now, either I'm now able to deal with the pain, or its doing something different, it dosent hurt as much now. Its still annoying [:P]

Last night I was nearing vibrations, when all of a sudden I felt something like a strong force of energy in my left hand. I tried to ignore it, but the magnitude of pain comming from the swirling energy in my hand was too much. It felt like some snake was running laps under my muscles in my hand. Even after I sat up, I could still feel pain. Does anyone know whats going on here?
