I took a nap earlier today trying to have an out of body experience. I've had 2.25 (now 2.50) out of body experiences both of which and a half were initiated from a lucid dream, where I would lose awareness and I would fade out of the dream and I would sense my physical body laying in my bed, and then I would get the vibrations, intense vibrations. So when I realize I'm no longer in the lucid dream I get the strong vibrations and I can feel like 3/4 of my body floating out of my bed, my feet are upwards floating and it feels like I get stuck at the head region (for whatever reason). So I "roll" out the rest of the way and this time I got out for sure and I rolled out onto my floor in my bedroom. I knew immediately that I pulled out and tried to start walking out of my room but this time it was weird because I felt out of balance and my astral body being pulled toward my physical body, so I struggled with everything that I had to move away from my physical body and I managed to fall back to the floor and started crawling towards the doorway of my room and all of a sudden I was back in my body. I was still very in much in a dreamlike state and I tried to replicate the situation but it didn't work.
By the side of my bed is a wall with a window and next time I exit like that I'm going to just try and jump/lean/fall whatever through the wall to get outside, because this is the second time I was "out of my body but kind of close but no cigar" it only lasted for maybe what seemed 5 to 10 seconds. Not really sure what I did differently in my first two full blown out of body experiences which started the same EXACT way but I was able to get away from my physical body and it was good from there.
On another note, I don't believe that I get the vibrations because I expected them, because the first out of body experience I had I experienced these vibrations for the first time ever.
Any advice as far as why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, because I don't feel like I'm doing anything different.

You just described my first few attempts at a conscious exit! I used to laugh so hard with me standing on my head, stuck, that I would go right back in. It was the oddest and funniest feeling ever. Just keep doing what you are doing, it might take a couple more times, but if need be, claw your way out the door. The further away from your physical that you get, the lighter you will feel and be able to stand up and then float or fly. If you do want to go out the window, that will work too, but don't expect to find yourself in your yard.
Good luck and keep us up to date! I just love reading these accounts, it brings back that excitement.
Haha, yes it is kind of strange to feel like your body is diagonal in your bed XD. Although it is frustrating, I believe I have found a very consistent method for having out of body experiences, and when I say that I've had 2.5 out of body experiences, it's actually 4 obes, but two of them I don't really count because they didn't last very long, but I was out of my body and conscious of it nontheless. I just need to learn how to have lucid dreams more consistently because that seems to be step one for me.
Thanks for the reply by the way :-D.
