So let me start by saying I think I've had a couple of OBEs throughout the years but my fear doesn't allow me to get too far before waking up. I have the lucid dreaming down though  :-D. Ok so a couple days ago I fell asleep as my 4yr old was playing with my hair, I mention this because I think that's what helped me not fall asleep completely, anyhow, I then started to float towards the front door whereby someone told me to wait there and stopped me from going through the door but it was as if the door was open because i could see through it. I saw my uncle who lives with us was walking towards the house at this point i realized i was having an obe and got very excited because i had no fear. So I floated into my husbands room (we are sleeping in separate rooms because we have a newborn) and knowing I was having an obe I was testing to see if he could hear me so I got close to his face and started to scream his name several times, at that point I felt I was in another realm and I felt very lonely because he couldn't hear me. For whatever reason I woke up right after that and walked to the kitchen whereby my uncle was unlocking the door to come in the house, he was wearing what I'd seen him wearing in my obe so I was curious to see if my husband was sleeping in the same position I saw him in my obe and he was except he was a little closer to the foot of the bed instead of closer to the headboard where I'd seen him so Because of this I question if it was an obe or a dream?

Hi Xo and welcome to the Pulse.
It sounds pretty typical to me. Id say yes it was, well done. There are a few reality fluctuations that occur and your husbands actual position could easily be explained this way.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse. It sounds like you had a successful non physical experience. Does it really matter to you whether it was a OBE or a Dream? Does this change the experience for you in some way? What is a Dream?
You maintained full awareness throughout the entire scenario. Kudos for this!  :-)
Here's to many more!  :-)
Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

Thank you for the replies. To answer your question Lionhearted, yes it does matter to me if it's a dream or an obe because to me dreams are not reality although they seem very real. And believe me I've had some very cool lucid dreams to very gruesome ones, but I can in no way relate them to my life that i wake up to. The exception to this are those dreams whereby information has been revealed to me ( for example, a friend being pregnant in a dream and in fact she really was except she hadn't told anyone). To me, OBE's are a reality that I can prove to myself by verifying what I saw during my obe when I awake. In a dream I could be flying in paradise, during an obe, I'm in a different realm still in my home, as if I was a ghost which makes me wonder if ghosts experience the same thing I experienced when trying to get someone to hear us. Idk, I'm just very excited about something that although cant be scientifically proven, I know in my heart it's real.

I had a Dream last week like a ton of other Dream I have written down where I was sitting in front of my computer typing like I am now. I have had Dreams where I was sitting in a chair watching my Minnesota Vikings team get beat by the Green Bay Packers and the next day they got beat. I've had Dreams where I was at my stove cooking a meal for Mary Jo and myself or Dreams where I saw Mary Jo talking on the phone and when I woke up I asked who was on the Phone?. All of these are Dreams to me, because I knew my waking body was still in bed. I don't see the difference at all. I also have had Dreams where I was going through vortexes and being shown new things in the Universe or saw monkeys wearing Top Hats dancing the cha cha. But all of these were still considered Dreams, it's just that at the time some of them were based more on a local setting. Since I was Dreaming that shows me that I did not have my focus on my physical body. The one constant I have is that all of these take place while I am in a non physical focus/reality.
When I am phasing my focus is also in a non physical reality, similar to what happens when I Dream, but I am 100% consciously aware throughout the entire process. That's the only difference I can see.
