i dont think its a bad idea at all. anything you can do to help in the begining is a good idea. the most important thing to do (in my opinion) is to record what you remember in a dream journal. its been my experiance that the more attention you pay to your dreams the more you will remember them, the clearer and more realistic they will be. if after a couple of months you find you cant recall a single dream on the nights you dont play the music, then i would start to be concerned.  hope this helps-

For a change of pace I sometimes put on nature sounds instead of music. Sounds of rain or the ocean are especially relaxing. Solo (native American) drumming can also relax.
Wonder what would happen if I played the BrainWave Generator without headphones and fell alseep listening to it[?]

Reason

I have another question.  The other night I put my music on and had it going all night.  The music woke me up in the morning in mid dream, but then I went back to sleep and went right back into the dream, then I woke up and went back and repeated this process maybe 3-4 times.

Do you think that I should keep the music on so this happens and I will be able to remember my dreams better?  I was thinking it would be ok, but I didn't want to turn my music into a crutch that I had to lean on.

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.
