I think this topic should be deleted, but other than that, there are plenty of free programming tools on the internet so you could make something that you do not have...something that can convert the presets (which ARE free) into sound. I think it'd be a nice learning experience for you.

That being said , jc84corvette is right, this isn't really the forum to be asking these kinds of questions on, despite the fact you'll probably find more people here who've actually DONE what you're trying to do than other forums.

For the sake of not getting this site in deep doo doo I can't be explicit here, but I can give you a few general tips -

Sometimes serial numbers or key gens for old versions will work on newer and vica verca. You just have to try them.

If a 'fix' has to be applied to an application to alter its shareware 'status', that fix will have to be for the EXACT version, eg, a patch for ver 1.3.0425 build 2 will not work on ver 1.3.0430. The fixes look for certain strings in the code before they'll run.

If you apply a fix to an application, then update it, you'll have to apply another fix made for the update. Sometimes the fixes involve completely replacing the .exe file, so chances are an update won't work. Generally its a good idea to find a reasonably up to date copy that someone might have sitting on a server somewhere, apply the fix then stick with it, ignoring the urge to update.

Always look for more than one fix for an app. Look for fixes written by different groups. What can happen is the company that produces the original product can sometimes get on to the servers that are distributing the fixes, hack the server and replace the fix with a corrupt file, hence the CRC errors when trying to extract the fix. If you get a CRC error on a particular zip file, open the zip and see if you can extract the files individually. I've often seen zips that have a file in them called "keygen.nfo" these are usually either corrupt or contain a virus or trojan. Test the files and extract only the files that check out ok.

If you've tried applying one or two fixes and they just don't work, uninstall the application, reinstall it and try again with the second fix. The first one might have corrupted the app.

Failing all else, there are sometimes russian or asian sites that will have a "full version" to download. Stay right away from the German  and most of the U.S. warez sites as as they will run you around in circles unless you allow then to upload some porn dialler, spyware cookie or other such nasty onto your machine.

With that in mind, hoist the skull and crossbones and happy hunting!

Gee...I had no idea people would react this way. I'd like first to apologize for my actions. I realize what I was wanting to do was wrong, but I don't think I was wrong by pointing out that many other people have done it, I'm not saying "everyone" just some. I guess I just got excited about the possibilities. I also know I shouldn't have posted a topic about something like this, but IIRC there is another topic similar to this where people were much more accepting (I understand it was about a year or year and 1/2 ago) . Based on that I thought it might still be ok.

Just for the record, I don't support cracks/hacks etc., this would have been my first time I've never used one. I hope everyone accepts my apologies and I'm sorry for making some people angry.

Cracks, CRACKS!!! No no no. This is what you do:

First, download the free trial version. Then download an OBE preset, lets say Deep Mind 4.
Go into the BrainWave Generator's folder. Place the 'Deep Mind 4' file here. Look for the 'Presets' file. Change its name to anything you want. Then change the 'Deep Mind 4' file name to 'Presets' (case sensitive).
Now when you start the Generator you will be able to play Deep Mind 4. If you want to play a different preset, you will have to change its name into Presets and whatever.

Sorry dkj400, that method doesn't work.

Intuitively I tried to do that before I read your post.  So I took a preset, renamed it to Presets.  The newest version 1.11 does a check of the file now apparently to make sure it's the correct presets file, because it claimed my file was corrupted :/
