Hello :) I've been a long time lurker in this forums, probably from about 2 years ago or something.

Anyways, since then I've been through what you could call a conflict of beliefs, but I've finally come out of that, ready to give the 'OBE' another try, but with a different approach.

See, I knew I had to read some books first, but without much time on my hands I decided to give it a try without complete knowledge.

Now, after going half through Monroe's first book, I can definately say I've started to understand the reason behind this practice.

And so, I'm back at square one, practicing, relaxing, just letting it happen naturally.
I can say I have much more of a clear mind than before, but I could certainly use some help to keep my mind blank and informed.

Point is, I'd like to ask you, what are some good meditation books and/or guides to read?

Also, any recommendations on some good reading material? Just about anything related to the 'experience'.. chakras, energy, you name it  :-P I really want to expand my knowledge, as I've just discovered the true beauty behind all this :-D

Anyways, I thought of putting this here as I don't think I need presentation, heh. I already feel a part of this forum :o)

Thanks!

I want to say that even though Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now is not a meditation book, reading it centers you, so I recommend it as reading material, not so much for the information, but for the effect it has on you.

Nice :-) I'm currently midway through Monroe's second book, but I'll catch a little break to read these other ones.

Thanks!
