I'm currently working on lucid dreaming.  I've had at least one lucid dream, but that was years ago, when I was very young, maybe about 7 or 8 years old.  In the dream I stood in my sisters room and made objects move around in the air.

Once a person is lucid in the dream state, is it possible to then direct one's self into an OBE?

Since making efforts to lucid dream by keeping a dream journal and asking myself if I'm dreaming throughout the day, I became aware that I was dreaming in one dream, but as soon as I said "Clarity now" I woke up.  I've also found that I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night right after a dream.  I've read that people dream the last two hours they sleep, but sometimes I wake up from a more vivid dream only about 45 minutes after I've fallen asleep.  I suspect they're more vivid because I've not slept as long and am therefore more conscious.

I think I had a dream in which I was thinking about lucid dreaming, but I'm not remembering it well.  I don't know what happened, but it seems like I was having trouble converting the dream, or maybe I was only thinking I had that problem in the past.
