Title: Projecting With someone else
Post by: akadrase on July 28, 2008, 20:47:01
Hey everybody,
I'm fairly new too this site, Ive read a lot of topics in all of the forums on this site and found nothing on this topic with enough information that I need.
I was just wondering if it was easier to project with someone else, for example, my brother.
It was a question worth asking since I am yet to have my first OBE.

Everybodies experiences and techniques are different but you are going to find that for most people projection is very difficult and requires sometimes years of practice, experience and most of all patience. So I would say no it is not easier to project with someone else. Astral projection is for spiritual growth and you should focus on your own experiences. If you are getting into this because it sounds cool and fun you need to rethink what you are doing before you get in over your head.

I dont think there is any harm in trying.

If by 'with' you mean both of you attempting a projection in the same room, then nothing is there to stop you. But it can be a little distracting. Say if he coughs or snores.
Or if you mean that both of you meet in astral, then also there are no laws against that. Worth trying because it will provide a proof, that its all real.

As far as I know there are no laws in astral, and no one can stop you from having a little fun. Although you won't progress much if you take it always lightly.

The only law is that like attracts like and what you do there surely comes back to bite your behind, so be careful.

Best of luck. :)

OK, I'll give it a go, I meant like trying to project in the same room.
Is it possible to pull someone else out into the astral, thats why I thought It would be easier.
If anyone tries it could you tell me how it went, because i really want to Obe!!!!

You can only help someone over only if they are receptive and willing. And even if you are successful it is unlikely that they will remember much. The other posters are right there are no laws that says you cant do this but....the right mind set and the right intentions will help you succeed. A lot of people project for fun and that ok but they will never make it past the "lower astral levels" (their not really levels but easier for the mind to understand). You will find that this level is somewhat polluted with all kinds of stuff and really have no meaning its more or less garbled psychic energy and can be very confusing. This is kind of a fail safe mechanism to keep those with certain goals to reach the appropriate "level." This ability was given to us for a reason and what that reason is I'll leave for you to decide on your own. Good luck, I hope you are successful and if you need any help astral pulse is a great place with lots of knowledgeable people.

But lets say both people were trying to project, and the first to get out would help the other out? Do you beleive they would remember? I just want your opinion.
Thanks for the "level" information.

I honestly don't know. I have had one experience with projecting with someone else. It was agreed by both of us that the when we exited we would go wait for the other and help if needed. My friend stated when he exited I was in his room waiting on him. We then wen't off and did what we set our goal for. I was never conscious of my exit and do not recall waiting in his room. I became conscious of my projection later. There is a good lesson learned here and that is that it is possible to project and not know it. Therefore things that im learning unconsciously during my travels are more than likely influencing my consciouse daily life. You see before I became conscious in my projection my friend told me that he was teaching me some things about the astral and at first I was a little scared. It was odd for me to hear that because I do not feel afraid of the astral but this obviously was my higher self that was being true and receptive. It made me question myself a little.
