Of course you normal it not the same for every one. it can feel different to every one. Just a lot of the people get it in there chest and forehead. Don't be discouraged. but at least you getting there be happy[:D]
While reading the treatise on OBE, I saw that Robert suggested that most of the time when we start a projection attemp with the rope, we will feel a distinct sensation in the chest or on the forehead.
But me, I feel something in my hands... Am I normal? :p
