is it possible to do heal your body while you are out of it?

i projected this morning, and hovered over my body for a while, and could realy clearly make out the energy surrounding it.  im a reiki student, and am wondering if anyone has tried using a hands on healing method on their own bodies whilst observing them?  (and if it has worked!)

thanks,

Hi V:

I'm a reiki master, and I've found out it's easier to heal others than yourself. Maybe the trick lays in the fact that our own pains are created by ourselves. So, consider illnesses as an energy projection of your inner spirit. Heal your self inside and the outside will be cleared out.

To say in other words: the parts of your soul/psyche that are not integrated in the whole of your being provoke energy tensions that project themselves as physical/mental illnesses.

I definetly agree with this.

International Ambassador of Psychology Brian, R. Costello was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He had it growing up the whole esophagus. Well the cancer is now gone. He told me that he healed himself.

He is an OBE'er also but i'm not certain as to whether he did it out of his body or in some other state. This might be tricky to say but I've personally never tried to focus my awareness, while out of my body, down to small cancerous cells within my body, and tried to manipulate them.

thanks for the replies guys.

i agree that its easier to heal others than to heal ourselves. i think thats because it can be easier to recognise the nature of other peoples dis-eases.  seeing our own takes a great deal of inner honesty, and many people are not prepared to go there.  they are not ready to let go of their imagined selves, and take responsibility for their own experience of life.

of course this works on many levels- there are many levels of honesty, and of dis-ease.

so, runlola, i believe what the healer said to you to be true.  absolute honesty- and subsequent forgiveness and healing- comes from the heart.  no matter who you are working on, it must come from the heart.
