Alright i'm hoping somebody here can tell me what the hell is going on with me.
I have been experiencing strange sleeping sensations since having the urge and wanting to OBE/AT.
Although i have not experienced a full blown obe or AT experience I have found myself hearing strange
noises and having unusual "jolts" when I am on the verge of sleeping.
When I was fully awake in the middle of the night (and I stress full awake not OBE or AT) I wanted to
go to the bathroom and I heard kind of like a strange noise of what sounded like what might have
been a large cat which was kind of yelling/meowing. If was coming from behind me and I do actually have
a cat but when I checked up on him he was downstairs fast asleep.
This is strange but is it something to do with clairvoyance since having a brief (I think) experience
with OBE/AT (which I posted about before) does anyone else have any accounts of hearing strange things since possibly crossing over
to AT/OBE realm even if for a very short while?
I have never heard anything like this or had strange sleeping jolts since before being into the concept of Astral Travelling and
OBE's but if anyone could shed some light on what might be going on i'd be greatful. And by the way i'm
not crazy either.

This could be defined as astral noise or auditory hypnagogics (depending on your belief system) and is a classic preprojection symptom.

Just as you get visual hypnagogia when in trance, you also get noises.

Any discipline that teaches awareness (which is what you need to become aware of the OBE exit, as opposed to just going to sleep) will expose you to processes that usually happen when you're unconscious. So you see, it's normal and expected. Noises can range from voices (yes, voices) to metallic screeching noises, screams, mechanical sounds (like a lawnmower), buzzing, whooshing, and almost anything that can startle.
This is a good symptom- it means you're staying awake while your body goes to sleep.
