I have a question about the method TheVoiceofSilence posted.

When you set the clock to go off, are you supposed to fall asleep (then wake back up)?

Or, is it just to prevent you from careening off to sleep, so you stay longer in a hypnogogic state?

My alarm clock won't work for this application, but I do have a digital timer that I use. I hook it up to a fan to go off when I need it.

Doug,

Here's the email I sent you - sorry I didn't see this..:)

It's a hit or miss with projecting and I've found out thru trial and error days, hours, month, year can affect the experience. If you've not visited my web site yet, I suggest you look at the stats tracking log I setup. Review this log and see how they compare with the months from each year. There are so many factor to projecting and I honestly don't see food as a issue. You need to be thinking about projecting 24/7 and passionately wanting it. Working extremely hard, having faith, along with patience is the key. Energy is a big factor as well – like finals, you will be thinking of studying and not focusing on projecting as much.

The alarm clock method is used to screw up your sleep pattern and fooling your body, awareness that you are up, but actuality asleep. I strongly suggest that you set the alarm clock and have it go off at random times throughout the night for the best results. You also probably want to do this on the weekends where you need not to be accountable for work, school, driving, etc..

When you dream and you can recognize that you are dreaming, you are actually out of the body already. Its breaking that dream bubble and holding your awareness and not allowing it to shift back to the dream.

Hope this helps and good luck!
