very early this morning I was laying down and my entired body seemed to be tingling, I pushed myself forward just to end up from on my bed to on the floor. I thought hmm, I better get back up, and suddenly, without any physical effort on my part I was bac on the couch.
Cool, I though, I must have been out of body. I was pretty easy for me to repeat this like 2 or 3 times.
However, once out of body I kept finding myself back on floor level, I would will myself forward to go forward, but it felt like I was slither on the ground O.o
So I tried to use my astral arms and legs to stand up, but they seemed to also be in sleep paralysis.
One of the times I went OBE I seemed to just melt through the surface I was laying on, but again on the floor.
So my question is why did I have a hard time once I found myself OBE, and one can I do in the future to have more control? Again, I tried willing myself up, I tried using my astral arms and legs just for them to fail me (they felt as paralyzed as my physical body)
There are probably so many different states of 'being' while non-physical.
I'm sure members can recount obscure and bizarre states of being while nonphysical.
It seems that once you get stuck in a belief trap while nonphysical it's an effort of intent to get out of it.... luckily it seems case specific i.e. it is isolated to that particular experience and is not likely to happen the next time.
I would say you weren't moving your astral arms you were trying to use your physical arms and legs. I think next time you project try to find a mirror and try to look at yourself and see what moves these arms or legs. It could also just be a one time thing.
