Something cool i read on a website

I was on this website along time ago and on it this tibetan buddist claimed that through pure willpower he knew how to switch bodies with himself in the future.Is this really possible with astral projection?And has anybody else besides this tibetan buddist ever tried it?

Instead of focusing on the "mystical" aspects of AP, focus on the realities of AP and what your possible of RIGHT NOW. I don't think anyone here could answer your question anyways. You might be able to morph your consciousness into a flock of birds and see from all of them at once. I just made that up, but it doesn't mean it's not possible. You see what I mean?

So your basically saying that just because something sounds unlikely doesn't mean it's not true right?

No, I mean anyone can tell you any outrageous thing they want. I can AP to Jupiter and play with the Jupitonian children. No one can prove if I'm lying or not.

But there are real things that you CAN prove to yourself with practice and diligence. That's whats important.

Astral projection is exactly that, projecting into the astral realm. When we start talking about changing bodies we are really speaking outside the definition of astral projection. In fact it sounds more like possession to me. Can you imgaine going about your everyday life and suddenly something else taking control. I wouldn't really care if the entity said it was me or not, I'd still be unhappy with that arrangement.

Secondly, Buddhism practice Karma and Dharma. They believe the soul is balanced over all lifetimes, with good and bad energies. I'm not sure why one would be skipping time and the 'journey of life' when they emphasise living in the present.

Not to discredit the possibility, but the site sounds like a fraud. Do you have the link?

Yeah it would be scary for someone else to be inside your body.Even if it WAS just another part of yourself!

Now that i think about it the whole switching bodies with yourself in the past or future idea sounds like the movie the butterfly effect.
