A day or two ago, I noticed that lights seemed to have been shining brighter. I initially noticed it on street, traffic, head, & brake lights while it was dark outside. The diameter of light given off of each seems to have expanded more than its usual. I wasn't sure if my vision was just blurry or something, but I still see it today. Some stretch out further than others depending on how bright a light is or what angle I'm looking at it. If I focus on one, the diameter seems to stretch/deepen also. I'm not sure of what this means? Or if it means anything at all. Could be my eyes!

Just this past New Years Day I've learned of & have been fascinated/curious of astral projection. I've been trying to practice it. I haven't exactly done it yet, but I have friends that have. I have, however, layed off trying for a couple weeks. The other night I felt that I had been lucid in a dream... but I could only hear things & not exactly see. I'm not sure though, it is kind of hazy. I'm not sure if that means anything at all either!

Hey there. I'm going to go out on a limb and say what you're experiencing isn't spiritual in nature. Though I don't wear them, I was prescribed glasses for nearsightedness. Without wearing them lights will appear to blur and radiate more much like you described. I'd see a doctor if this becomes an inconvenience.

Nothing is wrong with progress, keep it up.

I've had lucid dreams where I couldn't see but my visuals did appear when I thought about it. Not sure why, but I've heard about it happening to others before so I think it's perfectly normal.  :-)

As someone else who also wears glasses... I can attest to this fact.
I'd second the optometrist visit.  :)

I've also been replaying a video game lately called Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion... and I was just turned into a vampire in it... and all the lights are all glossy now!
>_>  Maybe you're a vampire!!  ;)    (btw, I am kidding.  :))

schockstuhh

having visited an optometrist recently because of things i began seeing, i've noticed that color schemes of things seem to be much more "full" i guess you could put it. this was a short time after seeing an optometrist. for example, once i began meditating and attempted practicing AP, i've noticed that the colors of a sunset seem much more vivid than they did before.
