no, the astral world is in higher vibration than this world.
You could say that the astral is infolded, dimensionally speaking. As such, it can be found everywhere (and therefore nowhere), totally and simultaneously. [:D]
..or completely lacking in space, maybe?
holographic maybe, in that every part contains ever other part...
anyone ever read "The Holographic Universe?"

I would have described it almost the exactly same way. It is like the theory of worm holes. That the universe that we know is folded over on itself and the places that it touches itself are the locations of worm holes. Kind of hard to describe but I will still try.
Imaging a piece of paper is the universe. Now take that piece of paper and fold it in half as many times as you can imagine. Continue this for infinity where it is just a dot but still compressed to the thickness of the original piece of paper. So each layer folded layer represents a specific location. The mind boggling part is now over. Now to get to any specific location you can either follow the surface of the paper (the long route, the route that we travel from place to place now) or just jump from layer to layer until you reach your desired location (the short route also known as a worm hole) I believe the astral is made up in a very similar fashion.

...which might, or might not be the case.
hello
I was wondering, is the Astral Plane a "fixed" place? Like in the physical world we know say 100km from this village is that village, and Egypt is south from here etc...etc..
Also are there "fixed" places where specific entities reside?
