I have been meditating for a while now but one thing I have noticed and was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this but
in the focus 10 state mind awake/body asleep I have noticed that while my body is asleep, I cant really feel anything, my physical senses are basically gone unless I shift my consciousness to become aware of them but I am just floating in the consciousness void in my mind. What I have noticed is my eyes are not asleep, if I am looking at an image or picture in my mind, my eyes are tracking along with me and I can feel the muscles/eyeballs move.

So my question is: Is this normal in a focus 10/12 state.

Welcome aboard NPMR,

Yes this is perfectly normal based on Monroe. He describes the steps to have an OBE as 4 steps, Condition A - D.

Here is a quote from Monroe himself:

Quote"Condition C is characterized by the shutting down of various sensory mechanism inputs, The sense of touch apparently goes first. You seem to have no feeling in any part of your body. Smell and taste soon follow, The auditory signals are next, and the last to fade out is vision."
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."

Hi Dbmathis,

Thank you for the welcome and reply.  Well I was curious because I have gone to a few other reality systems but I had lost consciousness each time before hand and kind woke up in the different systems and didn't know if I was getting close to the way you/someone project's or phase's while still maintaining 100 awareness.

Thank's again for your reply and have a great evening.
