Yey! I rank a 5!!! [:D]

I believe it is all true because I want it to be true so that I can do it to. Even if I have little of my own experience (I do have a little lucid dream experience though).

The best proof for myself I ever came up with was that if you ever have an OBE under the influence of any entheogens (pschedelics etc...), you will feel completely sober, a little confused as to where you are but completely sober, and your brain wouldnt be able to think soberly like that with all of those silly substances in your brain.  So, I think thats enough proof to me that we're not using our physical brains during OBE's.

A truly skeptic mind is open to the possibilities and explores them. The so called skeptics are just trying to find alternative explanations to facts, with no intention of finding the truth behind it because their minds already hold a dogmatic version of the "truth". In other words, they find explanations to the facts that fit their dogma. Whether this dogma is religous or scientific is irrelevant. On the one hand, religous dogmas are faith based and therefore anything anyone belives in with faith is equally true as any other dogma. And "scientists" have a dogmatic belief in the scientific method that does not hold water when confronted with chaos theory.

Plus this phenomenon (AP) has been reported in too many cultures to be dismissed. It is older than all religions. Anyway organized religion has it backwards: Morality comes from spirituality and not the other way around.

But anyway, even if it were all delusional, I still want the experience cause it feels good.

I was a 1 (I think too logically), then I found this site. So many people, 1 topic, can't be dismissed. I'm the open-minded skeptic :), Know Im a believer, du du du du du... srry[:D]

Firstly, I'd like to say that I believe a true skeptic is one who naturally disbelieves what they don't want to believe. And/or who is untrusting of all facts not their own.
I guess I'm not explaining that the best way I can.
A skeptic is simply a disbeliever.

But I absolutely believe in all of what goes on at Astra Pulse for several reasons:
1. Too many people know exactly what everyone else is talking about. (If you follow me.)
2. There is no reason everything here can't have a scientific base. (Just a different realm of science, is all.)
3. Well, whatever else goes here...

So far, I've seen too much of what I consider proof to be skeptical of anything here.
(Lol, sorry - I suppose this isn't exactly the type of reply you were looking for, but I felt like saying something anyways. ;)

Much like a religion i think what all our non-skeptics should do is have faith. If they can not open there mind and embrace obe and ki energy and what not then that is their choice. A man has his own volition and no one should try to force someone into something.

I have just a few comments since I have noticed that we now have a few skeptics in our forum.
1.If we are just imagining it all, then why aren't you busy trying to understand people having such profound dreams/hallucinations about one subject?
2.If we do hallucinate, are you suggesting that this kind of hallucination could be self induced or induced by others, maybe even used for mind control?
3.Have you ever looked at your hands ina  dream? Did you inspect them well, or did you notice with peripheral vision?
4.Have you ever MADE a thought during a dream that was realted to your phsyical life, such as remembering a fact that would influence your dream in some shape or form?
5.For the skeptics/religous ones, If we are all commiting a sin by projecting, following what has been previously said, what does that make you when you dream/lucid dream/have an NDE?

This is not meant to mock anyone in any way, just some serious questions to make the skeptics question their own assumptions. If anyone can think of any more, feel free to add on.

P.S.Try and have fun with this, lets not make it a flame war [:P]
