I have been trying to AP consciously for a while now. I have come to the humming vibrations that take over your body,
humming pulses I can hear that get louder, feeling my arm and head start to seperate from my physical body, the feeling
of falling, novacained jaw, seeing very sharp crisp images of locations as if I am floating by them in real time, only looking
through a window surrounded by blackness. I hope that makes some sort of sense. I am running into an issue here, When
I get to these milestones, my heart starts pounding super hard, like shaking my entire body violently it feels like. This of
course breaks the shifting and all is lost. I haven't been able to get past this point. Any words of advice?

Love, is all there is.

Hello Star Seed and Welcome!  :-)

What you are experiencing is known as "signposts". They are very common to this practice and a obstacle you must see yourself through.

They can come as vibrations, violent at times, there can be loud noises, even screaming, your heart rate could feel like it's shooting up, your head feeling like it's going to explode. But when you sit back and ALLOW this all to happen and learn to "passively observe" this all, you will find that in time they start to diminish in intensity.

I believe the extreme intensity is kind of a test to see if you are ready to go further.

When all this starts happening, you can create an intended destination in your mind and just go there. It's good at first to start with a simple scenario, maybe a beach scene. You are lying on the beach just watching everything that's going on around you. Let the scene develop. This will likely be hard at first because your excitement will actually work against you. But it gets easier with practice.

A will to return to "Source" all brings some unique adventures.

Here's a great one to start with. It will explain everything you need to know about Sleep Paralysis.

Hey Star-Seed

Im in the exact same boat as you. Experienced these exact symptoms and have still not projected yet. Been doing it for over 10 months. We can do this  :-D

Like Lionheart says just try and embrace them and enjoy it. With me, it comes so unexpectedly.

I think its because I accidentally fall asleep during my AP attempt and the distortion sounds and all the rest of it occurs out of nowhere. This shocks me as I don't have time to embrace them because it gives me no warning. (Maybe i am actually awake, but so much in a trance to realise) very confusing on my behalf. Dont want to confuse you either  :-P

If you are experiencing these while you mind is fully conscious that's great. Personally, I've only had these occur to me when they wake me back up again. Struggling to actually get the symptoms without falling asleep  :? :-(

Check out my post and you will see how it relates exactly to yours!  :-)

Sounds like definite progress star-seed, we're almost there!

Hey guys, If you are constantly falling asleep, what does this say about the fine line you need to rest on?
It tells me constantly that my body needs sleep more than the mind. That is a constant problem for everyone. To solve this it's far better to give the body what it needs. At night fall to sleep, once this has been done the mind can do it's thing.
If you've read about the statistics on success rates they are five times higher after some sleep.
This should point you in the direction of a morning attempt.
However, after a good nights sleep the mind can be too active and not meet the requirements.
This is easily solved.
You next experiment with waking up during the night. Start one hour before the typical amount of sleep you require. Do this in stages until you find the balance.
As with all experiments a few standards need to be made.
Go to bed at the same time each night. Do the same or similar thing each day (not always possible). Eat your last meal as early as possible and keep the time of this rigid. No suppers at all, water is ok but not litres of it.
It's mostly common sense.
Once you have done this for a few weeks you'll start to see what sets things in motion for you.
Dedication leads to success.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.
