An OBE not my house!?

Ok, I was getting really frustrated because this morning I had trouble inducing Sleep-Paralysis. After being in for 10 hours, I somehow managed to induce it FINALLY. Anyway, I knew I was getting ready to separate, but I forgot which side I was laying on, left or right (I have to lay right to be able to do roll-over technique into my room). So I know I'm wasting valueable time trying to think about this. But then I see something really cool, I saw the bed, and wall infront of me, but it was purple-blue, and it looked like a 3D grid. So hey, I'm laying on my left side, but the wall in the way! So I try backward rolling, and that doesn't work. Floating won't work. I keep feeling mild vibrations, and I start to hear"oooo...oooooooo" like someone was there watching me all interested, and the voice was also very low pitched and slightly raspy, which scared me for a second, but all I could think was "shutup" because I really wanted to project. Funny thing, the "ooooo" noise actually stopped when I thought that. Anyway, so I say what the hell, and start to roll-over technique which would have sent me toward the wall. But all of a sudden when I have vision I realize I'm not in my house.

I start rolling off some bed, and toward the ground, someone was standing there, I saw just their bottom, they were wearing some kind of red robe, it also had black on it, some kind of gold buttons I think (it looked fancy). And I landed by it, so I kind of crawl away from it, and it doesn't follow me. I'm having LOADS of trouble moving and even seeing, this was alot like my first Ethereal Projection. After about 10-15 seconds I realized I wasn't getting anywhere, and this was pretty pointless because it was really fading fast (well I had 10 hours of sleep already, I didn't expect any sleep cycles to be long).

So, what was this? Not at my house, someone elses house, but definently a projection. Was it an Astral Projection maybe? By the way this had to be the first entity/being I've seen in my 3 (including this one) known projections I've had so far.

Hey blade5x,

I've had numerous projections induced through vibrations where I seem to 'roll out' directly into the astral planes. An example of this (which I posted here a year or so back) was when I was in a SP state with vibrations, I finally managed to 'sit-up' and open my eyes. But I discovered I was in the back of a car being driven through a strange place.
Other such experiences have been seeing my bedroom as being very different to what it is in reality.
So such experiences might be projecting out into the AP rather than the RTZ through the use of vibrations.
Figures seen on immediate exit might simply be the remnants of hypnogogic imagery experienced in the SP state (these figures for me at least are usually at the bottom of the bed, and its unusual for me to see their faces).

It's great to hear you are managing to get 'out'.

Hey thanks for the reply.

I drew something up in paint, this is the robe bottom I saw to the best of my memory. Weather or not it was HI, it was pretty much there the whole 10-15 seconds I was projecting. But I could not see above the waist the area.

It's made in paint so nobody better laugh

Like you said, the figure was pretty much right next to the bed, maybe like 2-3 away, and it was stationary during the entire projection. Everytime I looked back toward it, I just maybe saw it from a different angle, but it seemed to stay in the place.

You know what MisterJingo, my first and only OBE was very much like that, i was drifting deeper and deeper into the hypnogogic state when i heard a noise that shocked me, as i was shocked i got up to look around, only to find i was in the back of a car driving through this area near my house, was weird man.

blade5x i think you managed to AP but for some reason ended up in a different location, this happens a lot with random objects and other things being experianced, it just you experianced a random setting.

Heres a link to my experience with the car if you're interested :

I noticed I induce OBEs the same way you do. How many OBEs did it take you to have control of your clarity?

My first and third were pretty blurry (first being the most blurry but most amazing experience).

My second was really clear, but I didn't mention "clarity now", it was just... very clear, in terms of sight and touch atleast. There wasn't much sound but nothing was going on to really cause any.

Well I'm happy for have had an AP now, this goes down as my first concious one

By the way, no more telling these to my mom. She officially thinks I'm on drugs LOL. And I hope my little bro had his first projection. I woke him at 4AM and he started slapping himself in the face to try and get more aware

nice experience!!!!     I have had quite a few experiences where I have exited and gone to pass through a wall and simply blacked out and ended up somewhere in the astral.  Sounds pretty much like what happened here.  THe colored grid effect happens to me alot during SP and upon awakening after OBEs.

The "ooooooooo" thing would have scared the crap out of me, auditory hallucinations before projecting always do if they are even slightly creepy.  As a matter of fact my last projection attempt with the auditory hallucinations of Carole Anne was the first time I have had them and not royally flipped out.

Keep it up!

It was a week since my last OBE, and after 10 hours of on and off sleep, I knew this was pretty my last chance for the morning. I was also afraid of meeting/seeing other entities, so I thought, facing my fear... heh while I was floating toward it in the other room, all I could think was "Now I've done it, good job, now I've really done it!" But the experience turned out to be a good one.

By the way during your OBE did you find a Carole Anne or was a Carole Anne anywhere near you?

knightlight

No, dont think so anyway.  I had my eyes closed and didnt want to open them too soon and end it all right away.  I didnt feel any presence close to me.

Awesome, and first conscious OBE, too, that's a double bonus!

I was jealous when I read "Ok, I was getting really frustrated because this morning I had trouble inducing Sleep-Paralysis. After being in for 10 hours, I somehow managed to induce it FINALLY." I can't willfully induce paralysis at all (yet) ... I only get it when I wake up in the mornings (sometimes). That's really neat you can do this.

I thought that was a good picture of the robe. I like seeing illustrations to go with things ... anyway, it sounds like an entity, alright. I've never seen a normal-looking one before. When you come across them, if you want, you can just look at them steadily, try with your mind to make them disappear - if they don't disappear, look at it with a neutral intent asking what it wants. I've heard stories where these "scout" entities wind up taking the projector for a ride to some really neat places.

When you're OoB, generally things never look exactly the same as when you're awake. My guess is, you were in an astral representation of your bedroom. No clue what the specific imagery meant.

If you demand "clarity now!" (affirmations work great for me) and keep saying it, you'll probably morph into an "etheric" RTZ area. The first time I ever got out, I kept demanding clarity until things were realer than real life. It was unbelievable.

You have to be careful, though, that you don't make the mistake of thinking that you accidentally woke up and just go back to sleep, when you're actually in the RTZ. I've done that so many times. Once, I was so angry that my eyes popped open and I "woke up", I went to turn the fan off, and my hand went right through it. (If your eyes spontaneously open, check to make sure you really are awake.)

Lots of good times ahead for you! I hope your brother has success as well.
