Hello cairnsb, definitely read Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics; it's amazing. Take care and happy reading.
hi cairnsb,
Astral Dynamics is currently the definitive book, technique-wise. Also check out Bob Peterson & Bruce Moen.
Other authors that will interest you : Sylvan Muldoon, Robert Monroe, Rick Stack, jane Roberts, william buhlman, Bruce goldberg. Give them a read...you'll find there are plenty of contrasting views !
also check out the forum "astral library", there are plenty of books recommended there.
Links pages that are tested and approved [;)]Sure they aren't books but they are still interesting reading material.

Buhlman also has an excellent book (2 rather) that he offers for sale on these sites, though you may find them a bit cheaper at Amazon.
Happy hunting! [:)]
The book Matrix V offers a very broad self-perspective, and broad and purposeful range of use for the OBE.

My primary motivator was always narration of experiences. This book is fantastic in that capacity. Really good for enducing the will to project. Very little by way of technique.
This assumes that you're already aware of RB's work.
ahem i havent seen anyone mention the father of oobe exploration robert monroe. his books are the best i believe. journeys out of the body, far journeys, and ultimate journey...his titles. rip rm although i highly doubt you are at rest, always curious he wouldnt stay put i know that
Robert Monroe IMO is the undisputed godfather of astral projection literature to which all contemporary writers must doff their hats in gratitude.
My apologies Robert, wherever you are! [:)]
thanks everyone!
I have already read Monroe's work.
Just bought Robert Bruce's "Astral Dynamics" today - can't wait till I can sit down and read it.
hey hi there just to tell you i also bought Astral Dynamics very interesting reading already ending chapter 1. After you read it can you contrast on Robert Monroe book.
Has anyone read any work by Stephen Laberge. He is a Lucid Dream reseacher. I have not been able to find any books in stores, however books can be ordered on line. The guy is sapose to have some really good advice on Lucid Dreaming.
Yeah, I read LaBerge's book on Lucid Dreams a loooonnng time ago. IMO Stephen LaBerge is the Robert Monroe of Lucid Dream research.
I have an audiocassette package I bought from Amazon 2 years ago that has LaBerge, Monroe, and another guy who talks about astral projection. LaBerge is terrific!
