Seeing double body during projection?

I am fairly new to astral projection. I have managed to have 8 fully conscious projections in under a year now and they have all been progressively better and more intense.

I recently had three projections one morning between 5:30 am and 6:15 am during a full moon this october with less effort than I usually put into having them. During the last projection I was flying, with hands out in front of me, and noticed the intense light, shadow, texture of my left hand. I noticed a warm sun glow, intense shadows and extremely vibrant skin. I also happened to notice, there was a secondary hand, like a ghost hand slightly offset from my hand by about a quarter inch. It was my exact hand but a fairly transparent offset double.

Has anyone encountered anything like this? I have read about seeing other peoples' energy bodies while projecting, as they leave their bodies. I have never seen this, but I have also never heard of seeing your own secondary astral body with another lighter energy body seemingly ready to separate.

I very rarely get a glimpse of any of my hands/arms/legs etc., unless I create a strong intent to. I prefer to experience the NPR (Non Physical Realms/Realities), from a simple point of view. free of any physical limitations.

But in the past I have experimented quite a bit with seeing my etheric body and limbs, I actually used to use that as a focus target. It sounds like you are seeing a double image of yours. That's quite unique!
