Erik

I promised to drop in on the forum for questions and reports.
Both are in this post!
I am not a native English speaker so excuse me for grammar faults.

In a dream or OBE I was in the hallway of my house, wasn't consciously aware.
One moment I had the idea to slam the bedroom door on my fingers.
When I thought what a stupid idea this was I became aware, returned to my body but didn't get awake in 'reality'.

For my eyes it was pitch black but I hear a combination of a sound.
First was like an accelerating motorcycle shifting gears only with a higher pitch than a real motorcycle.
Second sound was a wind like opening a car window while driving on a highway.

The sound gave me an impression of movement but on the other side I had the idea I did not move at all.
My impression was that I was a few feet away from my body.
Mind was crystal clear, even more clear than in daily life because I didnt't have internal chatter.

At that moment I tried:
Open eyes: everything stays black
Try to visit my mother (other location): nothing happens.
Command: clear sight now, what I red in a book, nothing happens.

I wasn't scared at all, tried not to be too enthusiastic but unfortunately everything stays black.
In my perception all this took about one minute before I woke up.

After awakening I did focussing on third eye thinking about love and light, got instant vibrations.
(I've also red that and worked great)

It was after all a great experience only I have a feeling that I spoiled a chance for more.
It would be great to step through the darkness.
In general, with lucid dreaming, when calling that it's a dream and it's fake I got blackness
or I stay in the dream scenery without any people or action, like a 3d painting.

Do you experienced projecters have an advice what to do how to pass through this state?

Greetings and kind regards!

Erik

Nameless

I think you did great! No matter what experience you have, that is lucid dream, projection, whatever it is a real experience, never fake.

What I think most of us explorers have found is that quite often the only thing required of us is OBSERVATION. I put that in capitals bc it is the one point that tends to stump most in the beginning. You think you need to do this or that and that the experience is a dead end when in actuality it could be one of at least two things.

1) You're getting a taste and need time to absorb before moving forward in future attempts.

2) There is a lesson that requires patience and observation. You don't need to do a thing except hold still and wait for it.

That darkness is not empty, close your eyes (if they are open), observe, listen, wait.

Lumaza

Nameless was spot on, as usual!  :-)

You are seeing what you need to see. You need to learn to walk until you run. Learn to "passively observe" everything with a "air of curiosity". Allow what's going to happen happen.

I used to become lucid in my Dreams years ago, but when I did, I would try to change everything and take control. My lesson though was to do the exact opposite. I was supposed to learn to react after I first observed everything. Every Dream scenario/OBE/Phase, whatever you want to call it, has something you are supposed to be aware of. That's why it happens in the first place.

That "3D painting", was developing right before your eyes. When this happens the next time, allow the scene to complete, observe what is occurring in it, then react and enter the scene. While there, ground yourself in the scene. You do that by consciously interacting with your new surroundings. Engage your other senses. Pick up some grass, touch a wall in a OBE, listen to what you can hear, use your sense of smell, etc. Those things will help you prolong the experience.

The 3D darkness normally precedes what you called your 3D painting. You will find that that 3D darkness is a sign that you are on the right track. That's when you stay the course and see it through!  :-)

Hi Nameless and Lumaza,
Thanks for your advice and encouraging words.
Really appreciating it!

I think both things nameless mentioned applies to me.
It was the first time since years I was consiously past lucid dreaming.
Patience is not my strong point, I also practicing patience in daily life.

What Lumaza describes about become lucid in dreams is where I am at the moment. I have this about twice a week.
I will try a more observative, exploring approach instead of asking things to happen.

Anyway thanks and I will report later.

The lessons you are taught in the NP (non physical)/Otherwhere apply to this physical realm as well and vice versa. Although you will find in time that the NP has it's own rulesets. We have "physical" limitations in this here realm. You don't find those in the NP, Here you need to bend down to pick up a flower, etc., there, it's already in your hand. The NP is very thought responsive.

This is a great topic that Erik opened discussion on; Nameless and Lumaza have offered excellent insights and I think there is more to dig out from here.

To me, Erik's experiences reflect an early and significant series of moments of consciousness/awareness NP recognition and consolidation. It is an awareness and recognition of where you are, and the fact of and the 'boundaries' of your current awareness. It also involves a few awareness 'markers', kinesthetic-type qualities- visual, movement and location...and you have to recognize and consolidate this new information, this new form of sensory input.

This new level of awareness and recognition brings with it a bit of a problem which you have to understand and bring under control- it is an increase in your awareness, interest, fascination and the excitement that comes with it!

Erik's next level of experiences will likely involve lucid dreams and obes with this higher level of awareness. The excitement and fascination with operating at this level is fairly overwhelming and takes some time in which to adjust. There can be multiple motivations driving us in these early experiences and this can cause many to be ended prematurely and in confusion. We want to fly, or to travel to multiple locations, or meet with and communicate with people or with deceased loved ones, or people still incarnate, or visit historical scenes...the list is endless...

The simple fact seems to be that we are allowed a little bit of this rambling about early on; but pretty quickly these fun jaunts seem to get cut short more and more quickly...it's as if we are gently being prompted to slow down and pay attention to something that somebody is trying to show us...and this is the learning, the teaching.

The first element of the teaching seems to be to slow down, stop the mental chatter, control the emotions and pay attention to what the current environment is trying to show us. If we try to fly, if we try to create, if we start hollering at people...the simulation ends with that 'premature' kind of feeling. After about the tenth time that happens, the truth of the matter begins to settle in and realization occurs.

This is the slowing down, observing and patience that Nameless and Lumaza are speaking of.

Realizing this and coming to terms with this understanding is a big and eye-opening step forward in our present evolution. Something out there (NP) is trying to teach us a few things. I never would have realized this as quickly on my own, without Szaxx and Lumaza giving me the benefit of their knowledge.

And for those who are experiencing somewhere around this level, I will reiterate an excellent insight that an old friend Soarin12 pointed out- When you are in a NP environment and searching around for the 'purpose' of the whole simulation, quite often your attention can get drawn to a tiny detail, a small aspect within the scene...if this 'detail' begins to vibrate or shimmer or transform...that is a sign that you are focusing on the wrong element within the experience; back off your focus and look elsewhere. In my experience, this quality always drew my attention even more closely...which apparently was the exact wrong response, Lol. Took me awhile to learn that lesson!
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Thanks for the advice EscapeVelocity!

QuoteThe first element of the teaching seems to be to slow down, stop the mental chatter, control the emotions and pay attention to what the current environment is trying to show us

Last time I am  practizing awareness in daily life. The idea was that it's sometimes hard to recall things and conversations in a normal day, let alone in dream/projection state.
I think that this is the main cause of my progress. As below as above as the saying goes.

QuoteI never would have realized this as quickly on my own, without Szaxx and Lumaza giving me the benefit of their knowledge

I think it is very hard to develop without some basic knowledge and guidance from other people.
Most people would probably freak out with an OBE experience and consider it a nighmare or something unholy.

Cheers,

Erik

The next element or teaching seems to be overcoming/controlling and "taming" not only the ego, but also any vices or vanities that may show up, like "lust". Those lessons and challenges seem to help us completely release any physical based focus that we may have had. That then opens us up to an entirely different level of experiencing.
