Great, now just kind of lie back and "passively" observe these. You will find that you can enter these scenes at a later time by "willing" your focus into them. Practice is your friend here. You need to learn to walk before you can run!
Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

I also see similar scenes every time I close my eyes and relax within seconds I see a road, trees and scenery a small rural lanes winding through the countryside. It's quite picturesque and interesting! Sometimes I see a beach, the sand, the sea as well as cliffs from different angles so I could see all this scenery from either ground level or 200 feet above the ground or so.

It's quite bizarre but also very pleasant, I am usually awake and fully aware that I am at home and in bed because I may hear the rain on the window at the same time,  a medium once told me this was something similar to Astral travelling but as I am able to control the speed with which I can move with my will power it must be Astral travelling?

If someone could confirm this for me I would be eternally grateful!
Thank you

Upon closing my eyes, and relaxing for a couple minutes I see random images as well.
They're mostly just fleeting though.

It's relatively normal I'd say.  Probably a slight off-shoot of remote viewing.

Same here.
We are spirit, expressing what we will.
We act out perSONAs on our stage of iMAGEination.
We are both the dreamer & the dream.
I think therefore I am.
I am consciousness & potentiality

I would tell you to take these "visuals" as a sign that you can definitely succeed with Astral projection. I find that good visualization skills are paramount to success. You just have to try to find ways to use these to your advantage. Deepen them, become part of them! My latest visual practice is closing my eyes and watching my arms move, before I actually give them the mental command to. Example of this, you walk up to a light switch that you wish to turn on, but you pause for a second and watch as your "astral" arm moves to turn it on. Then you open your eyes and really turn the light on. Practicing little things like this always helps to get your mind "tuned" or "trained" for when you start to control things in the Astral during a Phase/OBE or Lucid Dream Scenario.  :-)

It usually happens with me also. I don't think there is any problem.

Sometimes when I am traveling by bus or by airplane I have visions of the landscape outside as if I'm floating outside of the plane or the bus but the feeling is different from my normal OBEs as I'm mostly awake. Anyway what is the difference between OBE and remote viewing?

The only thing I can tell is with Remote Viewing you are "watching" the scene or looking at a certain area. With OBE you are "in" the scene or area. It's all in the perception. Truthfully I think it's in the expectation. Give a person coordinates they expect to see a certain landscape, that's what Remote Viewing is training them to do. But they both end up in the Wider Reality.
