I'm not begging anyone.

If you guys don't want to try it, that's fine with me.

This topic is too dangerous. We can discuss whether it's possible or not (I believe it's not possible) but trying it is simply too dangerous because: What if it really DOES work? What do you then? You'd have a new body, be a "new person". What do you do then? Maybe you'll never get your old body back...
Again, I really doubt this is possible, but I find it idiotic to risk it.

(slams down money on desk) 200 bucks on the left astral projector! lmao!!

Nah fair enough I guess no one needs to do anything for anyone.

LOL guys.

Again I didn't intend to post this thread for recruiting people to do this.... LMFAO

I made it to discuss.

I will say that it CAN be dangerous. Death can possibly result from this if some of these theories turn out to be factual.

But... lol.... going in a "new" body. Imagine how different your life would be?

Tongo

The way I see it is unless people really want to swap lives and are were unhappy with who they were before they swapped then I guess they would agree but I cant really imagine many wanting to do such an extreme thing and if there is no permission and you steal someone elses body whilst there asleep or something then you'll face penalties i'm sure.

I was reading in the occult forums and someone said that their friend actually wanted to steal someone's body.

And karma DID come after them.

I don't know the exact details but they basically said that a lot of bad stuff was happening to them.

So Yes, there is a serious ethical issue with this.

Stealing= BIG NO NO.
Agree to Switch= Okay.

I still don't think it's possible.... at least not fully.

Occult teachings say that the etheric body is part and parcel of the physical... they are like a matched pair.  I don't think you can use one etheric body to take over a different physical body, at least not permanently.  You might be able to affect another physical body but not take it over completely.  The etheric and physical bodies are two parts of the same entity.  The etheric is also cast off at or shortly after physical death (exception is earth bound entities - ghosts, who refuse to move on)  Even mediums who allow an entity to take over them to speak, can only hold onto the experience a short time.  It's exhausting on both the spirit and the medium.  So I would think that you might be able to affect another physical body, but not take it over, and it would have to involve complete trust between both parties to achieve.  And even then, would be difficult and exhausting on both parties involved.

I would endeavor to say that it would be completely impossible in astral projection, where your consciousness is focused on a completely different level of reality, which is independent of the physical plane altogether.

When astrally projected it is said that on a fundamental level petty things such as posession or trading bodies is of no interest. Also I advise that one should become adept in the art of astral projection before taking on such tasks as this. the OP obviously hasnt even had a OOBE yet so to surmise that this is even remotely possible is folly.

Spot on 13!  That's what I said too.

if a spirit wanted to enter your body, it probably wouldn't have to permanently kick you out of it first.  there's room for two.

LOL.   :-D  sounds like OP's theories are based on rumour and myth.  very amusing.

Guess I'm pretty late since it's been a couple of years since anyone posted on this thread, but anything come out of this? I can't seem to figure out how to AP, but I would absolutely be open to attempting to switch/swap bodies, as well as forming a group/network of people that are open to it and interested in experimenting with it, knowing what the possible side effects would be but still intrigued enough by the possibilities.

Didn't Robert Monroe in one of his books say he took over somebody else's body while astral projecting?  And he said he wondered what the other guy's experience was like when he was in his body.  He didn't know if the guy blacked out when it was happening or not.  This is an interesting topic, I wonder why other astral projectors aren't having such experiences and why Robert did.

He relayed the experience where he "seemed" to be living the life of someone else.  I think it's a little to simplistic to make that precise presumption of what exactly was going on.
Have you never had a dream where you felt you weren't you?  You felt you were someone else?  There's LITERALLY no difference between what Monroe experienced and the other scenario.

A lot of what Monroe experienced at the beginning was viewed through a very acute perspective.  As he progressed, and right up until just before he died, his perspective changed drastically.

Riddle

How did it change? What was his later perspective?
