I just wanted to give my personal experience with the projective field workshop from the IAC that I had in Miami in 2002.  Quite honestly it was the most comprehensive setup and informative course I have ever taken (after years of "searching" for answers).  During this course I had many misconceptions clarified by Wagner Allegretti (the main teacher) as well as tons of sensations and even an OBE and clairvoyance experience, (confirmed after the weekend workshop by seeing the actual image that was previously displayed on a computer screen in a locked room for research purposes) a pretty cool aspect of the course.

If you're looking for something objective and scientific without all the mumbo jumbo ritualistic/mystical/dogmatic stuff out there, you'll enjoy these people.

If anyone else has had any confirmed OBEs in general it would be great to hear from you.

This message is to announce a weekend long immersion around the phenomena of out-of-body experience (astral projection), sponsored by the International Academy of Consciousness (//www.iacworld.org).  This course is called The Projective Field (see here for details: http://www.iacworld.org/projectivefieldny).  This class would be of interest to any researcher, student or individual interested in out-of-body experiences, consciousness research, and related phenomena.

The course will offer participants the following benefits:

The IAC has already hosted The Projective Field in London, England; Évora, Portugal; Segovia and Madrid, Spain; and Miami, Florida.  Results from those workshops indicate that 37.5% of those who had never before experienced an OBE claimed to experience one during the Projective Field weekend.  Those individuals accounted for 11.43% of the total number of participants on those courses.

Over the course of the Projective Field weekend, 50 or more participants will make eight separate attempts to leave their physical body.  During each session they will try to "fly" and perceive a randomly generated target image on a computer screen in a locked room.  Only at the end of the course will the researcher and the auditor reveal the images displayed.  This allows participants to confirm the authenticity of their experiences, validating them in a scientific manner.
