Hi Everyone,

I am going to post my attempt to project this morning. I figure it might help someone and maybe someone here will be able to relate.

This morning after some early morning physical activity in bed my wife wanted to watch some TV in bed, however I asked her if I could attempt to dose back up to sleep and project. She was fine with this and left me to fall back asleep around 7:30 AM.

So I closed my eyes and started focusing on the darkness behind my eyelids between my eyes. It took about 15 minutes and I stated having random thoughts pop into my head at which point I started to demand that my body transition to astral. I have never demanded before, this was a first.

I started picturing myself standing at the foot of my bed and then standing by the window over and over. I kept flipping back and forth between laying in the bed and standing at the foot of my bed. After about 15 minutes of this I started feeling a vibration in my feet but nowhere else. I also felt like I was on a seesaw. My head would sink into the bed and then it would lift back up and my feet would sink into the bed. At this point I was getting irritated so I started demanding that I exit my body again and I could literally feel a body inside my body bouncing around violently. LOL!

This went on for about 5 more minutes until I finally gave up. I am not sure what happened this time and why i could not pull it off, but it was interesting still the same.

Best Regards

David

From your posts so far I would say that your becoming quite adept at willing yourself to OBE. I often have a "swaying" sensation when exiting my body. It feels like im on a swing and on the "tip" of the swing is usually when I am able to exit. Sometimes exiting with this feeling makes me fly out of my room or out of the house (against my will). In terms of the sinking sensation, thats how I feel _EVERY_ time i project. I feel like im falling backwards or below my bed or my consciousness is just slowly drifting deeper and deeper into a different state. When I feel like I am on the "verge" of passing out--that is when I trigger for my mind to wake up. I hope that helps a little. When your on the tip of the swaying sensation try focusing on a object in your room or rolling out of this swinging motion.
I wandered slowly there
I saw a field where a thousand corpses lie
Angels sang the hymn of the end
About monsters which they fought
Over our world

i have felt this swaying or wobbley feeling. I figured i was close when experiencing this...

@ ka0s: i'm a newbie to this site.. Do you exit successfully?

When you say:

Do you go against this "pull" of the swinging motion or with it.. Because when i've been experiencing the swaying i've been going with it, assuming it would help me "out of body"..

Are you suggesting more success could be had by going "out" or away from this swaying??

If you focus on an object in the room at this stage will you "automatically" find yourself out and away from your body???

I'd appreciate your help & input,
Thank you,

Go WITH it. as if you were going to complete a full revolution. At the tip of the sway i "lose" myself and can often find an exit. I do exit successfully and have since around 18 or so. I have been trying to develop my own means for exiting and returning to my body because of my large amount of hypnagogic hallucinations i experience. I think you'd have more success by going "out". If you focus on a object in the room you wont necessarily find yourself out and away from your body. For me it has always been a gradual thing. During exit its like going from points A > B > C but upon returning it has always felt like A > C . Hope this helps. I always remember leaving my body but not so much returning.
