Sight during OBEs....

Okay, I realize this might be a bit deep but it's something i have often wondered.

Science is now showing us that our physical eyes, can receive MUCH more information than our brains can ever decode... so essentially what we see as the physical world is not what it actually looks like.  In fact it goes even deeper, because all of the physical matter we see, is not really solid, not really there as we seem to experience it. 

So then, to my question... while out-of-body, why do we experience the etheric realm (which is part of the physical anyway) pretty much the same way we see it while in physical waking consciousness?  Is it that our etheric eyes only filter the same essential information than does our physical eyes? Or is it a mental block... since we see things a certain way while in the physical, we automatically block the extra information while in etheric form? 

What's weird is, many people can actually see etheric mist (a bluish tint) with their physical eyes, and I dont seem to even see it while I am in etheric projection.  I pretty much see everything as it is physically. The only exception is, on a couple ocassions I think I may have seen other etheric entities (I never interacted with them, and I dont know if they were deceased people stuck in etheric form, or if they were other people projecting like me, or something else alltogether)  If the restrictions of the physical brain/eyes are removed, why can't we see radio waves, infrared light, ultraviolet light etc while in etheric form?  Or do some of you actually see this stuff?  I see extra lightwaves, sound waves etc while on the astral level, but not on the etheric level. 

Am I missing something?

And we see a 3 dimensional world with 2 dimensional eyes

IMO it is because the laws of physics on earth help give it form. Also since they hold energy they leave an imprint on the etheric and astral planes. This could get really indepth about force and form and the polarities. I have studied this but it really is way over my head to recall without opening some books.

That is really interesting Synergy.

While I have no idea how one could perceive someone projecting with their physical eyes, I  am sure that while Out of Body our perception are filtered to our expectation. In one of my experience, I gradually increase my vision angle so I could almost see 360. The only think I did was to ask for it. It's logical that the information was always there, but I blocked it to fit into my belief and expectation. Same thing for the quality of the experience. Sometime a fuzzy OBE is transform into a Crystal-Clear projection just by intent. So I guess a part of me 'tuned-down' my experience because somehow I didn't expect it to be that clear.

I never seen any etheric form with my eyes so I can't comment on that. It's something I'd like to try someday thought

I think it just has something to do with the fact that we aren't at a higher state of consciousness when we are in our physical bodies. Everyone's heard of how meditating can bring you amazing possibilities, and in a deep enough state, be able to uncover what science has barely recognized.
