Hi, I've been practicing Astral Projection for a year all toghether now and I've had numerous of experiences that I can recall.
My first one wasn't really that scary and all of my OBE's have been pretty good without Negative Entinities.

Now, I've heard that if you practice APing or OBE'ing alot you will learn and start being able to have Out of body experiences more often and more on command.

This hasn't really been the case for me.
I'm a bit unfortunate because I can't find the time,
I work hard at school and need to get up at 6 in order to get the right but, and yes I'm doing electronics this year.. pretty hard and exhausting.

Also I hate laying on my back, I can't fall alseep on my back, my body sends signals to my brain that I should flip over in order to sleep...
This could be a good thing, if I maintain focus and don't flip sides?

I'm concidering buying Robert Bruces Astral Dynamics book.
I've heard alot of good stuff about that.

I'm a bit of a skeptic, that's how I am. So it's hard for me to belive all the things Robert Bruce talk about in Interviews and such.
But, Once I thought I could do Telekinesis and practiced with the psi-wheel.
I even showed people at my school, little did I know I would get my butt kicked the following year.

I'm not a whimp, I sing and play the guitar and I'm atheltic.. A pretty good guy and definetly no wierdo :P
:)

Now, I wish to be able to project and be more aware. I will read up on the point shift method and the ROPE method.
Unfortunatly I can't start having a rope hanging in the ceeling because that would look stupid infront of my parents, I know I'm 16 and all but still... Maybe if I'm lucky I could do it at night when they are asleep.

My problem is, I'm to exhausted when I get home from school that I can't find time to do it, because when I go to bed at 9:30 - 10:30 I need that sleep, so I can't waste any time trying to project, (atleast I think so).
So I flip over to my left or right side and vice versa until I fall asleep.

What should I do with all this, how should I improve my APing skills?
Sometimes I feel that I'm really close to separating: Heart chakra beating like a (mofo) :P and I feel really light and I have slight vibrations.
I just concentrate and relax and chant a mantra (in my mind).

Suddenly the feelings go away, I no longer feel separated, no more vibrations and no heart chakra racing.
I get up in hope that I've separated, and do a couple of reality test's, but to no supprise I'm in the real world and not in the Astral.
Just like Robert Bruce has experienced.

Now what can I do and what can I do to improve my Astral Projecting skills?

Sorry for the long post, but I needed to post my thoughts.

Regards,

Ian

Hey my names Ian too. And I sing and play guitar in a band  . Nice to meet ya its a small world. Anyways I would suggest keeping the weekends for AP. I also find thsat when I am working all the time I am just too tired at nighht and lacking the proper motivation. And also have the trouble with falling asleep on back. See, most people sleep on there sides. Thats just the way it is. The body will try and force you to do it. AP works better when your on your back because you wont fall asleep easy. Its kind of like an instinct. Your subconcsious mind will put you to sleep because it knows that when your on your side its time to sleep.

Hi, nice to meet you Ian. :) Yeah it's a small world but yet big somehow.

Yeah, I guess your right. I need to find time for it, make time but still want to do it. In my view there's no point of forcing yourself to do it, when you really don't want to.
